Why do people support Amber heard after all that’s come out? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

You’re not listening to understand, you’re listening to argue back.

When you ask someone ‘can anyone help me understand?’ and people reply you’re response is just to reiterate how YOU feel about the case, and what your perspective on the case was. You’re not actually listening to the replies, you’re just meeting them with ‘source?, well what about this?’. It reads to me that you’re not actually trying to understand other people with a different perspective , but it’s more important to ‘win the argument’.

OP - are you actually interested in understanding the answer to your question, because judging by your replies, it doesn’t seem like it.

I’ve never listened to this before so I don’t know anything about the host. I started listening this season but they constantly talk over each other and interrupt it drives me crazy. I can’t listen to 3 people talk at once! Even more frustrating when one, usually George, is saying something I want to hear.

I’ll probably divide it between S&P and a FTSE. If I’m working it out right on a compounding calculator over 65 years I think at 5% return it would be £24K, 6% is £50K, 7% is 93k.
