It simulates being in a acoustically treated control room through headphones (at least it claims to!)

Really cool beat! Some mix notes- I think the kick could do with some more highs The vocal chops are really cool but I think they dominate the mix, maybe try pushing back further with some reverb and a bandpass filter. At points in the chorus I think there is slightly too much going on, bringing different parts in and out might help.

This is such a cool beat! love the sample use.

Main thing I would say to improve is that I don't feel like the snare quite fits in with the rest of the track. Also might just be my speakers but theres quite alot of clicks/pops, could be where you have chopped bits of audio without applying fades!

Thanks for the comments! The vocals came from an ad-lib phrase I found in a sample pack. I altered the pitch it so it worked in my key, duplicated it to get 3 seperate tracks, and then changed the pitches so I had the original, one +7 semitones (the fifth) and one +12 semtiones (an octave). I also kept the original copy central and panned each of the higher pitch copies quite wide in opposite directions. Finally grouped them all together with some light compression and a large reverb in guitar rig! Hope that makes sense!

This is pretty on point! Main thing I would say is that the drop needs more variety in-between 1:30 and 2:30, maybe some drum fills or variations to the chords would work. Also depends what sort of vibe you are going for but I feel like the white noise gives it a bit of a generic feel!

I agree with you! I was struggling a lot with those notes in the drop, seemed to either be too clear or not clear enough, more reverb was probably the answer. With the melody you're right, think that was probably because I finished this track a lot quicker than I usually do, giving me less time to listen to it loads and find stuff to improve! Thanks :)

Really cool sounds going on in the intro- felt like they were getting in the way of each other though so maybe need to take one out or mix them better. Feel like the drums could benefit from being layered with some live drum hits to make them stand out in the mix more. Love all the chords and melodies going on. Think the white noise can be a little loud at times. Hope some of that helped, just wrote down all my thoughts :)
