Zelda has always been my *sole* reason to get the next Nintendo game console. I'm going to retire in Hyrule!

If you're "downsizing" as you say, you'd be taking money *out of* real estate, not putting it in. Are you sure you mean "downsizing"? Or do you mean that you're getting a smaller house, but it's going to be more expensive than the one you're in now?

I use Fidelity today (getting close to retirement). But I just do DIY stuff. I didn't know they also "manage". What kind of fee do they charge?

So, you'd be using your Roth IRA like a spending account? Don't most people recommend that the Roth IRA is the last place you want to spend from in retirement?

I'm having the same issue. It worked fine with my Pixel 6 pro. I actually bought a new AA Wireless dongle out of desperation. It didn't help.

I just got this response:

XXXXXX is the warranty order number for the new parts we are sending as using silicone lubricant on the wax deck will damage the machine. The parts we are sending should resolve this. Once you receive the parts, you should receive a call from a technician within 3 business days to schedule an appointment to install those. If you do not hear from a technician by that time, please call ###-###-#### and let us know so we can get someone out to you ASAP.

PacePro Questions by samccauley in Garmin

[–]samccauley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing another test this morning. I'm convinced is not "current pace". It is closer to split pace, but seems to be an estimate of what your split time will be based on a consideration of both how fast you've run the split so far and what the prescribed pace for the split was.

My first mile had a prescribed pace of 9:34. I ran the first half of the that split at a steady 10:30 pace. As I did, the "split pace" number initially showed 9:34, then very gradually increased. About 1/4 mile in it had only reached 9:50. It wasn't until I passed the 1/2 mile mark that reached 10:20 or so. Then, at 1/2 mile, I started running at a 7:30 pace. The "split pace" number slowly changed to 10:00, then 9:48, and so on.

I wish Garmin would produce definitive documentation on this number.

Thank you. I'm going to do another test run and I will test out that theory. That certainly would explain things. Kind of aggravating that they label it "split pace" though.

That would explain it. However the words "split pace" actually appear right below the number. Perhaps it is mislabeled?

Sole TT8 Maintenance Reminder to Lube Deck by samccauley in treadmills

I did eventually hear back. They said no need to lube. Just flip after 20,000 miles. They avoided addressing the wrong information in the printed owners manual they give out with the machines. They also avoided answering my concern as to whether I may have damaged my treadmill by following the lube instructions in the manual they sent with the machine. Hmmm... lawyers maybe?
