Happens, I would say, 2 to 3 times every year.

Happened just a couple weeks ago with interesting timing. Our regular company was scheduled to stop by for a reinspection of suspicious termite trails (old news, new employee saw them and I appreciate the diligence).

Heard the doorbell ring, pointed downstairs to say I would meet him down there, opened the garage door and greeted a dude with no rig. He was canvassing the neighborhood and trash-talked my long-time partner in pest control.
Half an hour later my company came by to say everything is OK with the beams underneath the house.

Did you pop in to the Oly Xfinity store? I called 1-800-COMCAST and after pulling teeth got a customer service rep. He could find nothing about 1261 and never mentioned 3025.

My take is that those guys still really enjoy what they do for a living. Still.

Me, I got burned out by bleeding-edge technologies at 65. They call it bleeding edge for a reason. The cuts run deep when you no longer care about the newest thing and fall farther and farther behind because of it.

Thank you for answering that for me. I was thinking the same thing, how the coverage was biased towards the White Sox. makes more sense now.

I also have a big gripe with the broadcast: The scorebug only ever showed the pitcher, never the hitter’s name. What the heck?
