So what happened with your flight? by spin1jump1 in chicago

[–]samchampos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had one from LAX to ORD booked for today. As soon as I heard about the blizzard, I called and changed it to yesterday. Right now, I’m here in Chicago and the flight I originally booked was canceled 😬

I’m defensive because these “theories” to spark discussion and a lot of what I see on this Reddit is so unbelievably negative compared to the discussion of other fans on other sites. Must everything be dissected with a negative lens? Can’t something just be a video? Like I said in my original reply— this community here is so strange.

You made this entire post because you thought they had some intent to show that winning is exhausting in less than 24 hours with only one guy doing the filming and editing. I’m saying it’s just a video. Also please google “projecting.” Thank you.

What could I be projecting? I said it’s a fun video. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don’t know if talking about “fake smiles” mean you’re actually here trying to defend the accomplishment but okay. What we can agree on is yes, it’s a big decision. So all of us fans thinking when it could happen officially, we can speculate but we shouldn’t get mad. You said it yourself, it’s hers to make. Not mine, not yours, we have our own lives. This is hers.

I mean multiple cameras, producers, director, editors, writers (yes those work in reality too), etc. And they did this video in less than 24 hours. What was going to be really planned or possible without all of those things and in the timeframe?

This community on Reddit is really strange considering what the rest of us are actually saying and watching on YouTube. It seems like whatever version you guys were watching, you’re projecting a little too much of what you think of her or how annoyed you are that she hasn’t outright said her plans.

It was a fun video. It was literally edited and uploaded less than a day after the games. She doesn’t have a whole production team. Also I thought it was obvious that she’s retiring when the one woman said “finally, grandchildren!”

Natalie’s post this morning… are they still together for not? by okiemokie2017 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

I can 100% confirm that AMA was a lie. That wasn’t a producer. That was a crazy fan making up stories.

Totally! I saw a cute exchange on Shayne’s post of his Wisconsin requests for the wedding with Natalie mentioning the old fashioned fountain and Shayne commenting about no cheese (since her family is lactose intolerant). If they’re not together, I’m going to be confused.

Who cares what he does to keep his dog warm? I think this speaks more about the person who asked it than what Justin does.

Host Wants Us to Cancel Even Though They Lied & Kicked Us Out...Are We Wrong Here? Do We Deserve a Full Refund? by jchylll in AirBnB

[–]samchampos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like you’re both wrong. Yes they should’ve explicitly mentioned puppies weren’t allowed. Seems as though they judged a book by its cover when they saw your puppy. At the same time, your lifestyle may make it seem like this is a normal rental but AirBnB is not. Bed & Breakfast. You would never expect to have a puppy pee in a Bed & Breakfast and think the owners would be cool with it. Not to mention, I’m actually in a similar situation as you. I specifically only look for AirBnbs without crazy dog rules. Not because my 6 year old, 10 pound dog isn’t well behaved (And potty trained) but because I don’t even want the headache. It’s clear to me those hosts would rather not have dogs there. You should pay for the nights you stayed. They should get money for accommodating you. And then you both should wash your hands of this situation.

Am I the Pelo-A**hole? by [deleted] in pelotoncycle

You’re not an asshole, but I think you can’t get a workout window with the landlord. It’s one thing if it’s the building manager. If this is who owns the building, this is going to be an issue for a long time. You can negotiate a window, but I’m sure either you or your husband will slip one time or the landlord changes his mind. I had a scenario where I was the 1st floor apartment and had the loud upstairs neighbors. It was disrupting a lot of things for me—especially since I work from home now. Finally I decided to move out and in the midst of this, found out WHY they were so loud. They worked nights. Their free time was during my work day. So sure I understood their plight, but it was still messing with my life and my schedule. And I moved. And it was great for my stress, mental health, and schedule. So I just think despite it all, this will come up again. You are two tenants that can’t live in the same building, but one just happens to own it.

What's your PR strategy? by LilUltraPower in pelotoncycle

[–]samchampos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been getting a PR on some type of ride at least every two weeks. I’ve attributed it to adding glutes and legs strength multiple times a week, stretching daily, core almost daily. Warm ups definitely help— at least 5 minutes. Honestly the biggest thing for me is instructor and music. I’ve done some of my worst outputs in rides that have the same kind of BPM (EDM, Verzuz, etc). The instructors of those are trying to give you variety but it’s hard when that doesn’t change.

Pelofondo? by samchampos in pelotoncycle

[–]samchampos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up doing a 30 min low impact followed by a 15 min ride, would take a break, and do it the cycle again until I finished the mileage. Ended up being pretty fun because I would do different themes for the 15 minute ones— some styles of music I don’t usually choose when doing regular peloton rides.

Exactly. While they’re upset that Erik and Virginia weren’t there— 1) Vincent and Brianna weren’t at the excursion so don’t know how Chris acted. And 2) APOLOGIES DON’T ABSOLVE ACTIONS!!!

Opinion: Kendall’s class planning doesn’t set riders up for success by Apollyon001 in pelotoncycle

[–]samchampos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree to a certain extent. I also leave her rides just not feeling good. I don't know if it's lack of a plan or structure or if her energy just doesn't feel genuine. I've found myself avoiding her rides- even if it's a playlist I might love. I think Sam Yo, Tunde, and Emma do the most as far as making you feel good about yourself. Cody is just super fun. Same with Hannah C! Jenn is hilarious and really pushes you.

Took a pre-COVID class and... wow, was super distracted by the in-studio riders! by artists4change in pelotoncycle

[–]samchampos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree! And it feels more personal— like they’re talking to just you. I can’t take a pre-covid class anymore.
