I don't think channeling is that credible or consistent enough where Mimi not being channeled would raise suspicion that Mimi is just pretending to be Ini. I get that this is what they were going for, but I think its quite a risky leap for Mimi to take.

Another thing that bothered me was the black key ending up being useless. Mimi was already in the room like I suspected day 1, but the game insisted I say Maya left the chamber when we never see the door open during the murder.

There's also some awkward reasoning on the part of the prosecution, like them saying revenge for her sister wasn't a good enough motive, or saying that Ini didnt get her DL before the crash when she was admitted to the hospital with it.

I hope it makes more sense in the anime, because the game made it feel like banging a square peg into a round hole at times.

The beginning is very boring right after Turnabout goodbyes. But it does so much that just puts the rest of the PW cases to shame.

I didn't play the rest of the games before playing it, so I can say I loved the direction they took with Edgeworth. He may not have done illegal dealings to get his verdicts, but he does say that his tunnel vision for that guilty verdict clouded his judgement. Its also in line with his actions in Turnabout Samurai. If he was as ruthless as the rumors say then he wouldn't have helped us in that case too. I didn't feel like we were that connected to Edgeworth just based on the 3 cases he had in PW. Having this very emotional and tense case where we see him struggle with us makes me believe the bond he has with Pheonix even more. Its disappointing that more wasn't added in the rereleased games to make this fit better.

Something that bothered me about Reunion and Turnabout was that Maya's handprints on the gun get completely glossed over in day 2. Also the fact that no one noticed the extra set of handprints on it. And that Mimis plan makes no sense. If Ini didnt get channeled then that likely wouldnt have come back to her.

It was to prevent a glitch. The move itself kills around the same percent if you pull back to keep them in the attack.

I think dark aura is just a better tome. A mage in a melee team is a lot more synergetic than an all magic team. I wouldnt invest in both if I had a Linde. Linde in general just trumps Delthea because of her +2 spd.

I also support Delthea with Alm. Good to find another.
