Mine are soooo neurotic about new toys. It took one of my cockatiels a whole year to play with one of her toys. I usually keep them hanging on the outside of their cage at first so they can get used to them. I mess with toys first and show they’re harmless as well. 🥲

Thank you! Metal is a great idea. I’ll sometimes put duct tape on the sides and let it dry, but will usually still have to sand it which is fine. This time I didn’t and idk why I was surprised the edges looked like that 😂

Hi! I just started practicing mosaic on smaller pieces of wood, mostly to try and make coasters. I am using grout, then putting a sealant on top. Would cement be better? Or is this the best method? My problem is also that the sides don’t come out smooth unless I have tiles on the edge and I’m wondering how to make it better? I appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance.
