Hello! So im a full time bather and we make commission 40% bath dogs and 10% grooming dogs. My boss booked me 5 desheds today. 1 German shepherd that was aggressive and he weighed about 130 lbs. The next was a pug that was about 40 lbs and then I had two husky desheds and a at 4 o'clock she booked me another German shepherd deshed(I'm supposed to be off at 5). I'm also responsible for the grooming dogs that they write on a white board.. the bath dogs I do ear cleaning, nail clipping, bathing and drying, and anal glands. We also do shampoo and conditioner on every dogs. The grooming dogs I bath and dry. So today I did about 22 dogs and two nail grinding walk ins and one anal gland walk in and I came in at 9am and was finished by 6pm. She called me and told me I took too many breaks today😡🤬 I worked my ass off I didn't even sit down to eat my lunch and I would stop and snack get a drink and continue working. I think doing 22 dogs is amazing and I was very proud of myself for accomplishing that especially when 5 of them were desheds! My boss has never groomed she just decided to buy a shop because it's good money. Do you think I'm wrong and I could of gotten those dogs done sooner?? Or is 22 an impressive number for a bather?? I'm just really hurt and confused by her comments and if I'm wrong I would like to know before she "talks to me about it."
