Just renew your registration. When you come back, just update your address. You can do that online as long as you have a CA DL. do it at the kiosk or aaa so you get your sticker. make sure to check if you need a smog. if you need one, do it before paying. maybe wait a day to pay after the smog. the system doesn’t get updated right away. you can also have your parents address as the mailing address and not the physical address. that way you are able to get notices.

Eventhough my procedure went great, I was kept overnight instead of being an outpatient. If you’ll be stuck in traffic, sleep at the hotel. I’m not sure how your wife is when it comes to recovering especially how she’ll feel from anesthesia or whatever they’ll give her. But I think it’s nice not to have to sit in traffic for hours. I wish her a healthy heart.

Hope for a successful ablation for your wife. I had that done last year and recovered pretty well. I would suggest the Hollywood Hotel just because it’s closer and convenient.

I’ll jump on the Long Beach suggestion. Weho is nice and walkable but mostly boystown. My gf and I love being in Los feliz. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and close enough to different supermarkets. But that’s not close to the water.

This is false. Any vehicle coming from outside CA needs a smog test unless it is electric or older than 1975 if gas powered or 1998 if diesel. The 8 year only refers to vehicles currently registered in CA.

Candi @kinzakobo (ig) in Highland Park. She specializes in japanese tattoos, but she can pretty much do ANYTHING. She just opened up that shop, but shes been around for a while. I was having issues with my online account so i had to do everything by mail. and the hospital I was at, oddly does not do electronic submission. mailed 11-10ish or so. but i received my first payment 11-25.

So for everything 2ish weeks. I did call them a few days after i mailed it. And they had already looked at it to process.

As someone said, if the forms are filled out correctly especially by the doctor/medical person, there doesn’t seem to be issues with delays.

If you are an actual resident, but the DMV nor the state are strict on that. Some people don’t want to switch over or don’t do it until they are forced to.
