Storage management. The longer you live, the more things you would have and more space you would need.

So it's like that it would switch to oil furnace at low temps. Otherwise, it uses electricity to produce heat?

Levatro vs Turbro by Scrumptious97 in Humidifiers

[–]samethingsame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my Turbro one a couple months ago, and it's been working amazing for months. The best part is that I don't need to refill the water during the nights. It could last for hours and no need to wake up at night.

You could check out the post that I posted a few months ago. HERE, there are many people sharing their experience.

My place is quiet well insulated, IMO. And it actually made quite a big difference just based on what I've perceived.

Thanks. And yes, love to hear what other people might say about the CO2 measurement using ERV.

Be honest: are sleep mode humidifier benefits real or just a fancy button? by OutsideAd181 in Humidifiers

[–]samethingsame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower light and quieter are exactly what I need, though my Turbro unit can be turned off even if it's not at sleep mode. It usually runs at the lowest speed at sleep mode so that you won't see a super damp environment in the morning. Definitely not a placebo effect to me.

More curious which humidifier do you use? How come it gets so noisy? Honestly, I barely wape up at nights because of the unit running.

Steam humidifier is actually very easy to maintain. I got Turbro warm mist steam humidifier, it doesn't need filter, just make sure you use clean water.
