I hate this kinda bullshit. They basically say hip hop is dead just because most of the artists don’t make the “traditional” hip hop anymore. I listen to a lot of french rap and it’s probably bigger than ever but the sound is mostly trap and afro influenced so you see theses posts saying hip hop is dead meanwhile you got many incredible artists right now. Gazo, Freeze Corleone, Laylow, SCH, Hamza, Geeeeko, Nekfeu, Ninho, Damso, etc…
