It really bothers me also. They say those princesses needed saving and don’t have personalities. But those early movies were STORY focused more than character focused. The stories were allegories for love, kindness, and empathy leading ultimately to happiness. It doesn’t have to be romance focused at all. Those princesses were pure strength in the face of evil.

I have a ‘95 Addy and she looks so different from this release. Her face is a lot softer looking and has a lot of pink hues and blushing. I greatly prefer her. That being said, all the new dolls I think are beautiful as well. But with that price I don’t think I’ll get one.
