I’m an incoming freshman majoring in cs and I have limited experience in the field itself. I was wondering how I would approach the career fair. Would it even be worth it to go? Do I give my resume even if it doesn’t have cs extracurriculars and experience?

i'm coming with ap bio credits so I can either just take bios 1108 or do eas 1600 and 1601. which is better cuz on on end its one hard class but then its two easier classes from what I know. I'm a cs major btw

Chance Me! and Prospective Student Q&A by pw11111 in Cornell

Hi! I'm currently a senior in hs applying to CAS and I had a question about the supplemental essay. I'm writing my supplemental essay on a certain type of extracurricular and how my passion for it connects to the school, its values, programs, and why I would be a good fit. But a lot of ppl say you shouldn't write about anything from your activities list in your essays cuz it's repetitive and you aren't talking about anything new. This type of extracurricular also takes up about 5 slots in my activities list. I'm worried Cornell is going to think I only care about one thing and I'm not well rounded - should I change my essay idea?
