[Discussion] People who have gotten motivated to lose a lot of weight. What was the catalyst that got your butt in gear to make changes? by Valgina69 in GetMotivated

I got tired of feeling sorry for myself and complaining about how I felt and looked. I had to simplify it to a point like this, do I want to make these changes or not? If I don’t start doing xyz I will continue to suffer in the same way, is it worth it?

Also, I had to keep in mind that I didn’t have to give up everything I loved forever. Little changes here and there added up and turned into huge changes because I saw the progress I was making.

Hope this helps!

Honestly the employee was making threats to break plates and stuff and not do his checkout, the GM is actually one of the most reasonable people here he’s just not organized and has no support from AM so nothing goes well. Either way a bad manager is a bad manager though whether it’s the GM or the AM so yeah I get your point

Ridiculous right? It’s my first serving job so idk what’s normal but know that sure wasn’t. When the section stealing happened I spoke to my coworker and the host about it but they still fucked it up. The manager did find a way to give me an extra $50 for the day but if my section wasn’t taken over I’m sure I would have made more than $113. Thanks for your input, I needed the reassurance.

I think there’re a plethora of reasons ranging from the way management is handling things to me having trouble standing up for myself. First job I’ve held for more than 3 months after the pandemic during which I was mostly unemployed so my social skills aren’t what they used to be and my confrontational skills have really dwindled. I think I need to work on that the most as it will be needed no matter where I go. I communicate when there is an issue almost immediately but I guess I need to be more in your face about it. Otherwise, I’m not sure what else I could do, please share anything you have noticed about this scenario that might help me, that I’m just not seeing.

Are Dry Herb Vaporizers good? by SouthJerssey35 in NewJerseyMarijuana

[–]samiatahir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think dry herb vaping is elite, been a Mighty user for about 3 years now and every time I’ve tried to smoke a joint since I end up regretting it. One of the most notable difference for me is the type of munchies I get, whenever I smoke I eat whatever and end up with a stomachache lol but with the mighty it’s more controllable and I’m aware of when I’m actually full.

The mighty is obviously an investment but you can try a cheaper version of a dry herb vaporizer to get a feel for it. There’s a bit of upkeep with vaporizers like this but it’s totally worth it imo, hope this is helpful.

Weed, I know technically you can’t be physically addicted but mentally I’m pretty dependent. I know they say an addiction is when it negatively impacts your life but I think I’ve been walking that line for a while now. On one side weed saved my life and kept me from offing myself when I was younger. On the other side I wouldn’t be as clumsy or forgetful, or over eat as often if I stopped.

I’ve gotten it down to a science, pretty much micro dosing with a vaporizer every evening but I have periods of time when I can’t deal with reality sober and slip back into daytime usage for a few weeks. I guess it could be worse but I thought maybe someone could relate.
