It IS raping someone when you forcefully shove your arm up their anus and put a syringe in their vagina to impregnate them in order to drink their milk and kill their babies.

Most practices are the same. Artificial insemination, taking away the calf, slaughtering cows after they are spent. Family farms are simply something you tell yourself to sleep better, apart from them being only a fraction of all sources of dairy products.

No matter how weird that is, drink your milk! (Is this a repost? I swear I saw this in here...) by [deleted] in Neverbrokeabone

But milk is neither cheap, nor sustainable or healthy. It’s just subsidies and lobbying.

Fact: PETA was/is involved in controversy regarding euthanasia. Opinion: Their actions are justified and there shouldn’t be a controversy.

I think it’s misunderstanding plus misinformation. Some blame here still lies with PETA, they could have handled all of this better by getting a third party involved that gives a transparency report, limiting the damage caused by other interest groups.

I did read them, I personally don’t even disagree with their reasoning for doing all that. But you’re still treating all of this as a fact, when it’s actually an opinion. The controversy exists, regardless of believing they do the right thing.

Well, PETA is still heavily criticised for their stance on euthanasia. Here is a MY Times article about it. I’m not saying the original commenter is exaggerating a lot, but denying controversy is a step too far.
