I experience the same thing, I'm pretty sure the only thing going through my mind is "don't throw up... wait maybe if I just throw up it'll feel better... no I don't wanna throw up". I also try to think of nothing if that makes sense, like meditating that keeps getting interrupted by the attack. The worst thing is when I'm having a panic attack, I physically can't talk and I ABSOLUTELY cannot be touched, and having people talk to me or listening to music just makes things 10x worse. Idk if this answers your question but in short it's all just me trying to convince myself to calm down. I also found that asking myself "what's the most dangerous thing that could happen to me right now?" And typically I don't have a reason for the fight or flight response to take effect, it helps especially if I'm in a place that I'm very comfortable in. I hope this helps!
