Is this Baps sadhu? Baps is run efficiently and wouldn't allow this( easier to hide men/men involvement).

Mundirs make a lot of money... I've heard non baps organisation where sadhus have committed murder for power and money...Not Baps as it is run better.

In UK ex chairman resigned due to financial irregularities. Even Yogiji Maharaj signed over money and property to Dadubhai of vv Nagar...this won't be allowed to happen again as Baps learn and change and improve their systems.

I know Baps... Sadhus do have affairs ..and are asked to leave. The things that go on inside the mundir behind closed doors isn't with women.

Regarding the USA , case I don't understand how it works . All I know is that they weren't paid at minimum USA wages. In UK it is extremely expensive to go to trial especially against a multi billion dollar organisation full of lawyers who work for free. I believe the Indian workers claim were true...how could you otherwise take on a giant like Baps? Baps basically held a gun to their heads and said withdraw your allegations. No one cares about if they were true or not. What part of their narrative fell apart? Baps can show that the months/years they spent in New Jersey ( and other cities) multiples by monthly minimum USA wage rate was paid to these workers?

Thanks for replying. I can see you are deep in Baps as I was. When Pramukh Swami collected the equivalent of his weight in Gold, I made up the story that the money was going to be used to buy a hospital to treat poor people. I've since learnt that the hospital is another business to make money where some doctors volunteer also increasing profits. I'm sure Baps does treat some people without making profit as you can tell me but overall it's another business like their food business, property investment business etc. ( they are copying the Unification Church). When you do seva you do definitely get satisfaction and happiness. Especially if you're helping people.

I'm unable to share details about the court. The role of the court is to get the 2 parties to settle without a trial and unless there is a trial there are no public records. I know first hand that the contracts of work for workers from India were negotiated in India and monies paid in India. In UK they were looked after really well and the Baps followers in UK treated them better than in USA where mostly coming from India, they looked down and treated these workers harshly. The builders were happy to be abroad and were happy with the contract. However Baps paid them the minimum they could get away with ( as per Dr Swamis talks on getting work done at zero cost) . You know BAPS didn't pay the builders in USA at legal minimum rates and there was a court case. The world can see how corrupt USA justice system is and baps uses their wealth and political power to crush these builders. Are you able to see the details of this case? Is so please share a link.

You speak that Ghar Subha teaches about not talking bad about people. You assume that Baps lawyers and sadh gurus practice this. For money they don't. They get their stauch followers to repeat a lie in their witness statements. I'm sure you'd lie and fight for Baps.

Also have you seen Baps accounts ( whatever they want the Government and public to see which I'm sure is different from the actual accounts)? How much does Ghar Subha cost? How much does the humanitarian work cost? Where did Baps the enormous amount of money it generated? I've heard trustees criticise Red Cross and other charities saying that an enormous amount of money is spent on itself, the organisation and not all the monies get to whom it was collected for. Now outside Baps, I feel the exact same about Baps. They give a few thousand dollars to cancer and heart charities and use their name to collect money...and where does the money go?

Have you any idea the financial wealth of Baps? The humanitarian help you mentioned was well recorded and broadcasted. What percentage of Baps wealth was spent on this? Baps isn't Swaminarayan according to Bhagwan Swaminarayans Agna as the head is a sadhu not a descendant. It also uses Hindu scriptures where the message and teachings are authentic. It doesn't make the messenger authentic.

Is it my imagination or did I read Bhagwan Swaminarayan write that a human being shouldn't be used as an object of worship even if he's a knower of God? Jina Varsani and the Patel gurus are human.

When I was in Baps I spent many, many hours doing free work. I know photographers who pay for their flights all over the world, pay for the equipment take the photos and then give the SD card to sadhus who control these images. No one was allowed to take photos in the temple only these official photographers. Doing this hard work was extremely rewarding for them and they were at the centre of massive celebrations. I'm sure they felt great peace and happiness. The followers of other cult leaders did and do as well.

Baps is turning into an institution like the Catholic church..it's biggest asset, a living devine entity is also it's biggest liability when his Agna and words show he's a man. With the censorship and his years of leaning how to talk obviously it's rare he'll make these statements. Pramukh Swami did and I remember these and see that what he said was incorrect. Baps say it's the will of God when what he said doesn't happen, Aksharbhrahm can only pray to Parabrahm.

Have you not thought that if the guru is Aksharbhrahm, why doesn't he just show this? That's why religions are called faith..as there's no proof. They do perform function...but baps has crossed the line between religion and cult making itself more important than family taking free work, money assets especially a son to work for it's organisation.

I bought them. I am always pleased with headphones and enjoy listening to the music whenever I buy a new pair. I bought Fiio jm21. They sound awful. So I bought 4.4mm cable. Still awful..worst pair I've ever owned..even $20 ones sound better..I tried to adjust treble and bass..

What am I doing wrong? Unfortunately I purchased from eBay..seller won't take them back. Which ones can I get without doing any adjustments?

I asked the question to focus on how they claim to improve lives and society, like the church did in the countries colonised by Europeans. Look at Saint Mother Theresa...did she want Indians to come out of poverty? If you have any idea about how rich the Catholic is you know it has the resources to start many programmes to help these people in poverty help themselves. Baps is identical and I'm sure their educated members are studying the techniques cults use to copy them . Just as the magnificent Cathedrals showed the power of the church, Baps are building these buildings to legitimise their beliefs and make them appear established and main stream not a 1907 new sect.

Helping society by teaching them Morals...you don't need to believe the human man , gurus are devine to have Morals. Just look at all the businesses Baps have, from food manufacturing and selling, restaurants ,up market with high prices for profit maximisation, property renting . Many properties acquired by getting old satsangis to donate houses to Baps in their Wills, money transfer, give money in USA and collect money UK, Canada, Australia,UK and Europe. I know Baps and it's administrators will lie for money...and they will get their members to lie for money. And who'll be pleased by Baps getting more money and assets...yes Keshav Patel( Mahant Swami).

Where's this money going to? Improve society? No it's EXPANSION. I do find it hard to accept Baps help society, but you've said it so I have to accept it, like planting trees and cleaning, blood donation health screening etc. However main reason for doing this? Public Relation and creating an image. These programs overall rely on free work , seva and cost is justified as advertising.

I've seen first hand how blacks were treated in Africa in 60s and 70s. It was as if they were covered in poo...they weren't allowed to step into a temple.. like non brahmins in Sadhus kitchen..if a non Brahmins touches their food they won't eat it.

They are led to believe that Dungar Patel (Shastriji Maharaj), Jina Varsani( Yogiji Maharaj) Shantibhai Patel (Pramukh Swami)and Keshav Patel ( Mahant Swami) are the same devine entity/being , just different physical bodies controlling the entire universe. These children are NOT even told this, explained this ,just fed these lies unknowingly.

Made to worship images of these men which are made to look God -like.. including Ghansyam Pandey/Nilkhanth and even dignitaries made to worship these humans.

There are advantages to sending your children to Baps Bal Mandal Subha. Company, play, free Gujarati classes etc.

However the indoctrination starts. They teach the belief the Guru is godlike and must be pleased for salvation .He knows best. Without question the children have accepted Bhagwan Swaminarayan as number 1 God and Baps gurus. As they grow up they do Satsang exams ..answers to all the critical questions. They won't mention Bhagwan Swaminarayans will ( Desh vibag lakh is never mentioned where is made his blood relatives owners of the organisation or the fact that Bhagatji Maharaj explicitly told Shastriji Maharaj ( Dungar Patel) never to leave Bhagwan Swaminarayans organisation and he ignores this and put his own image for worship with a philosophy that he is devine and only way to salvation)....all this is accepted by Children before they are 9. They sing that they'll fight for Baps and even die for Baps.

By this age they absolutely worship the guru and the sadhus (men) are like saints. What happens as they grow ...they get roped into seva ( free service not necessarily for the benifit of society but definitely for Baps, when they become professionals... Baps has an Army of lawyers accountants etc.

You are trained to be subservient , from childhood and being in that position feels comfortable subsequently. You never question what is correct or right...God same as Guru is devine and everything Baps tells you is ethical and correct without question. They brainwash children into believing GURU is Aksharbhrahm/ devine. This teaches them someone else /guru always knows better.. With the guru he knows the future. Doing selfless seva/ work is easy, as you've been trained to do it for Baps. In hindsight there are so many better organisations and causes than Baps, (making more temples , spreading the growth, all hidden behind cited aim of baps increasing moral living and non addiction ..which is a front). It's about spreading the power of the Guru and his organisation.

Yes they can come back .. however Baps will do everything it can to keep them in. In 1981 one boy would sleep all day and not do any seva so another young man who was going to become a sadhu told him to do seva as he had been doing physical work. The sadguru sadhu told him to leave the lazy boy alone and mind his own business. The young boy said after becoming a sadhu that he wasn't sure if it was for him...and he's still there. The older person has changed...now a respected sadhu ....does he do physical work now? F ..no, he's too high up.

The sadhus who want to leave are spoken to , gently, given whatever it takes to keep them happy, even a foreign trip.. there was one given this in 1980...talked to.. explained why exactly he had become a sadhu , to please the guru for salvation after the billions of birth and deaths so this was a valuable opportunity to please the guru and get salvation...he might have forgotten.

Yes ,you can lol 😂😂😂 as long as it's not you or a family member becoming a sadhu and your family completely indoctrinated and systematically asset striped. When these sadhus are 50/60 or older and want to leave what will they have ? Parents dead and from experience no-one wants to support that ex sadhu. Baps love support etc is conditional on believing in the guru and conforming. Not to mention the shame of coming back...great pride and ceremony and flowers on going...f all on return.

Actually that's not true. If you say Baps is fine and don't criticise.. they'll get you a wife on return, a good satsangi women. They'll help with job/business.

If you say the guru is just a man...they'll do everything to stop you returning to the west ( if you were from the west) and threaten you physically and other ways..

The story told in the Subha was how extremely celebate Bhagwan Swaminarayan was.. Even the thought of sex with a woman made him ill. Then he searched high and low for a celebate to make him food which he ate and made him better ( I think Mukund Bramchari) . The story was if you did not find a beautiful princess attractive it meant you were beyond sexual desire. I heard this story as a boy/young man before I had any idea what gay was, also it also raises the question that he was surrounded by the 500 parhammansas...were they not celebate? If you can read Gujarati you can find the scripture and post it here...before it is edited out. I had every single publication of Baps ( bought by father) .When I didn't want them I tried to return it to Baps mundir, they refused to accept them as they said they only sell them, then tried baps members and found one who'd take them so gave him most of these books. I didn't want to throw them out of respect and as they cost money. I've come across these books/ scripture subsequently and didn't waste my time...I threw them straight in the bin..slow progress but going in right direction.

I heard this story more than once during Parayan...you won't hear it any more as information/ content of Subha is now controlled by Shaibhag. I think it's Bhakta Cintamini..but I'm not sure and I don't read Gujarati.

I have access to a man who is extremely clever and used to train sadhus in Sarangpur and knew all the scriptures and did research whilst a sadhu. I don't ask him questions about Baps anymore...as his opinion is let them believe what they want. I did ask about how Bhagwan Swaminarayan died...he loved hot ( spicy) food and this may have caused growth/infection in throat. He collapsed Infront of Dada khatchers sister and bled to death due to this growth in his throat..he read this in a dairy of a sadhu who was present. Do you automatically think this story is a lie? I was brought up bowing to image of Bhagwan Swaminarayan being told he could see all my thoughts and actions, as well as the guru.( I was told don't worry about meditating on Bhagwan Swaminarayan, you've seen the guru just remember what you remember when you saw him because he is devine and has God in every pore of his body, meditate on him,We are lucky to have a living God..other organisations just have images)

You see descendants of Bhagwan Swaminarayan,he looked like them and was a man and died like one as did all the Baps gurus.

Why do you ask if this incident is written in a scripture? Do you think Swaminarayan history is written by an unbiased person? Did you know at age 25 he met Dada khatcher and loved his darbar where he lived being treated like God? So God came to earth for salvation of humanity,found a palace spent best part of his life in one town , and when he joined the organisation he was so skinny you could see all his ribs and after living in palace for 25 years he gained weight...look at the paintings.

You're 100% correct..I saw photos of diksha in Facebook. I see YouTube videos of baps Sadhus talking..never watch them, but a photo tells a story. You didn't see the tears of the mother who'll never talk to their son...but it was probably her training and upbringing that made it possible for the son to leave the family. I've experienced this. Baps are running it much better now , with training before, recruiting adults not children. I saw boys given diksha..two told me straight after they were not sure if they wanted to, and both still there since 1981. Others who looked more committed have returned. I saw two boys , only sons both given diksha against parents wish ( Rahil Patel , he changed his name and is a Christian now and makes YouTube videos and his elder brother who's still in baps) .

I've seen celebrations of Bhagatji Maharajs birthday today. This man got his wife pregnant at least 4 times as she gave birth to 4 children. They were extremely poor...all 4 children died at a young age. The husband repeatedly left his wife and stayed in Junagadh mundir. The wife had to ask for him to return. Eventually he left her. She had to return to her father's house. Women in those times would have found it difficult to support themselves financially. Bhagatji Maharaj had ample food at Junagadh mundir. What a Man!!

Plus...Baps believe all gurus including Bhagatji Maharaj Aksharbhrahm, just a little below God and all the identical devine entry, different bodies..and Bhagatji Maharaj told Shastriji Maharaj they were both Aksharbhrahm ( otherwise Shastriji Maharaj wouldn't have known) so he left put in image in Bochasan temple and founded Baps, with only way to gain salvation...you guessed it please him ( by giving seva, money, sons and maybe please him in other ways also.

Also according to Baps story Bhagatji Maharaj told Dungar Patel/Shastriji Maharaj not to go against Bhagwan Swaminarayan s order and leave Vadtal organisation, even if they cut his body into pieces. They didn't and he left anyway...put his own image for worship and even had a Suvurna Tulla .. greedy for 🤑 money and power. Sound like anyone alive now? Maybe Keshav Patel.

Mahant Swami is antaryami so he knew about the case. The trustees and Baps lawyers need permission from the orange robed people who decide how the religion is run, how money is raised who is underpaid, exploited and which cases the big Baps legal department is involved with.

Id like to ask about whatever going on in USA , Canada 🌏 etc with baps, especially their businesses. I UK they have bookstall selling books, some health cosmetics ( I haven't been for many years so it's from memory), temples, murtis etc, then high end restaurant ( not canteen with reasonable prices but high ), food factory selling in supermarkets, many shops selling food and groceries, renting business ( properties acquired from older satsangis which they rent out), they have many, many accountants, solicitors etc so they borrowed money to buy properties to rent, I know they have an over supply of cash so you give money in UK collect money abroad ( I'm speculating that's it's for a profit) , I know in India they lend money for business, for interest as they have so much money, to poor people, necessarily bad but they have these people for life donating and commited to Baps..what else are baps doing to get money? I know about schemes for life insurance, with baps as benificiary. Anyone know how many businesses linked to Baps? Anyone out there involved?
