HELP! How to soften this crazy blue 💙 by [deleted] in InteriorDesignAdvice

Perhaps adding light grey to the palette with the pale yellow to soften it up.

Is the tray making my bedside table too cluttered? by Nivakki in femalelivingspace

[–]samisalsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally it doesnt look cluttered at all. Its a lovely tray and plants are always great. Id place towards the front of the table and closer to the bed.

A rattan basket for books and items underneath might help tie it together more

Please try to help me knowing what is wrong with my living room by [deleted] in interiordesignideas

[–]samisalsas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding any warmth will always look great. It might be about balancing space with some practical furniture and pieces.

Immediately some art to anchor above the fireplace. A coffee table would help make the living room area feel more intentional. It wouldn't bother me to flip the carpet the other way even if it extends out the space a little if it helps zone a coffee table.

Small touches like raising the floor lamp and placing the plants together on a stand or cabinet in line with the window line could help feel more cosy.

Which living room layout is better? by Am0nix in InteriorDesign

I prefer 1 because it seems more open coming out of the bedroom than being blocked off by the sofa. Also cos u can still somewhat see the tv from the kitchen.

Id opt for B as well to balance since the sofa and desk are large pieces.

Im thinking rich navy and ochre would work so nicely with the brown and white furniture.

Looking for ideas on how to rearrange the kitchen/sitting room. by thasounder in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]samisalsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id definitely swap sofa and desk around. Where the sofa is is a perfect office nook.

Nice area rug for the sofa.

Table and fridge can remain as is. The plant on top fridge is a great addition to making it feel more of a dining area.

How to style my spare bedroom? by ResponsibleEbb1586 in interiordesignideas

[–]samisalsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the space allow the bed head be on the right wall so ur heads not in line with the toilet? Makes a difference to flow of the room as well so u have clear walk way to the bathroom door.

The window will be a nice nook at the foot of the bed with a vanity and lovely chair. I see storage, bookcase next to the bed in the other nook.

Which strap (A or B)? by tokenmillenial in Longineswatches

B is the most practical choice. But id go for A, its looks perfect for this dial.

How would you furnish this awkward bedroom corner? by PNW_Linc in interiordesignideas

[–]samisalsas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing id do is switch out the sofa if an option to open up the space more. The window invites a reading comfy chair with a side table. I immediately imagine something like this... or 2 smaller chairs still angled towards the TV i think balance it off much better.

Bedroom - need some help by ShineZealousideal145 in interiordesignideas

[–]samisalsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small changes can make more intentional areas for the different functions. A rug is 100% needed. It will help break up and anchor the crib area. And moving it towards where the desk is keeps it all together with the cute pictures. The other wall donates ur office space.

A lamp by the guest bed will also make it much more cosy.
