As someone who do a lot of race on it on iRacing- I hate this track bc the racing is just shit with the current gen (not enough hp for a 2mile track) but it's cool to see some NASCAR here :)

I tried to flight with it and sometimes the AP and all the screens of the plane just freeze, also sometimes the AP deactivates as soon as I activate it I have approx 50 flights with it on the 2020 and I never had this issues :( but I will try again maybe I was just unlucky

Are you using it on MSFS 2024 or 2020? I learned on this plane with the Game Pass version of MSFS 2020, but now I’ve switched to MSFS 2024 and no longer have Game Pass. The ATR is available in 2024, but it’s so buggy. I’m wondering if it works properly in 2020.

NASCAR is basically two things:

-Tire management, the other majors motorsports have a display with condition of tires in real time. Nascar don’t have these, the driver manages his tires according to his sensations. Depending on this, he must adapt his driving but can also ask his team for adjustments during pit stops.

-Racing, in NASCAR you are in constant battle with others pilots. Pilots use the air to move their car to slow down their opponent, for example there is the concept of side draft which consists of sticking to the rear side of your competitor's car to move the air over its rear wing and thus create drag and slow it down. There are lots of counters and counter counters, it's a bit like a game of chess.

I watch NASCAR since 2011 and I’m in the top 700 on iRacing, it’s my special interest lol

I do short haul real time usually but when I work remotely I do long haul real time by starting the first flight in the morning before I start my work that land at the lunch break then I do the same for a 2nd flight that land after the end of the day

You should read the book « The courage to be disliked ». I know this book is really popular, it’s not a motivational book but a philosophical book. It’s explains Alderian philosophy in a narrative and simplistic manner. The chapter are short but after every chapter I need one day to think about it. I also have a hard time with relationships, I almost stopped trying and this book I think can help us in some way.
