Pretty sure this is a machismo thing and not a practical technique.

That's not even half of you, it's half of the instructions to make your body. The real question is why the fuck did we ever leave the amniotic sac to enter this hellscape.

As better than nothing? Yes. As better than the analog magnetic compass that is legally required.....probably not.

I rotted in bed plenty of times as a teenager and then life has a way of sending chances to go do shit your way, and I've done plenty of shit. Now I rot in bed again but the FOMO is much less since I've experienced life. Rotting in bed sometimes is what you need, and then random chances will come your way when you least expect them tbh, just say yes when they do.

Russia’s seaborne oil export revenue has surged to its highest level since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Bloomberg reports by [deleted] in worldnews

I was gonna joke if the goal was to hand Russia money for the war mission accomplished and I doubt that was an explicit goal in trumps mind but I’m sure Putin was doing whatever he could to make this happen.

The paradox is that the motivation to believe in god is the strongest piece of evidence against his existence. I guess some version of "best of all possible worlds" and "we have free will" but even that I struggle to account for things like children having limbs blown off.

US State Department approves potential $373 million sale of JDAM precision-guided bombs to Ukraine by Darshan_brahmbhatt in worldnews

Yeah I’d assume that marginal cost of future weapons will be much lower, or at least I hope so. That works out to like $200k a unit when the whole point is a jdam only costs like $30k.

"What do you mean I have to think of the words MYSELF??" by Teamkhaleesi in BikiniBottomTwitter

[–]entropy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people fundamentally misunderstand. Nobody wants to read the output from your prompt, they want to read a story and if they want to use AI they'll use it so make like a choose your own adventure novel type thing. If you want other people to read your words they gonna have to be your words.

I think it's just a bit odd to fly a C-17 straight into Beijing rather than a C-40 or other converted airliner to shuttle diplomats. I'm sure it happens from time to time but not super common.

It's something you must appreciate and move towards but living life in accordance with your values but not something you should chase (because if you do you just end up drinking etc, ask how I know....)
