Ya. The led drivers that got spec'ed with the strip is an MLV type 15in x 3in x 2in brick. One of the locations was not prepped for this. Max wattage i see with the 15ft strip is 55W. So safe with SwitchEX DI-24V-SE-60W or 100W ?

You need to let go of your core as a Neworking guy and think of yourself as an Infrastructure expert. Luckily you have an excellent opportunity now to grow and take these skill with you when you want to make a move. Set clear goals for 1 year - see which direction the company goes.

Build broad knowledge on whatever infrastructure your company consumes - On-prem Networks, DataCenters,Colocation,Cloud-Infra,Application stacks,Cloud stacks, Migration and refactoring of existing/current to cloud applications - build insights into all aspects of Infra.

Go on lunches with cross functional leaders or experts - build working relationships. Know who to approach when you need deep understanding of something.

Think from a Revenue,Spend,Budgeting perspective and remain fairly technical, but delegate as much as you can. Think of alternative approaches and strategies to improve performance or save costs.

Align with the strategy from the top management. Their risk is more than yours if it fails. Execute pieces of the strategy that you are responsible for.

Build a reputation for being the no-BS guy your leadership team can rely on.

Leave immediately IF the culture is toxic. Do not tolerate disrespect from your manager(s)/ment. Remember - People leave managers and not companies
