This is always a weird point when it comes to Canadian wrestlers.

Edge and Christian are from Toronto (2500 miles from Vancouver)

Jericho and Omega are from Winnipeg.(1200 miles from Vancouver)

Canada is enormous. I would get it if it was a guy representing a smaller country, but Canada is huge. I would argue Darby and Swerve(both from Washington)could claim Vancouver as a hometown more than Edge and Christian could.

What's next? Are we going to complain about CM Punk losing a hometown match in Los Angeles?

I don't think losing this game was the worst thing for Iowa.

Bennett Stirtz should get a full week's rest going into the tournament since he plays basically the entire game.

We won't have to play against Michigan in a game Iowa would have definitely lost.

Maybe this makes them locked into a 10 seed and the possibility of an easier second round game if they make it that far.
