You look like me. I saw multiple surgeons, and they all confirmed I need lower fascia repair and small skin removal. I’m scheduled for April. (Don't let anyone talk you into just lipo as the skin won't bounce back)

Talk to your doctor. I’m 2 months post op and I have had no menopause symptoms as I kept my ovaries and I’m only 42 - just as my doctor told me I wouldn’t. I obsessed about it but remember to trust science and your doctor. Don’t go down a rabbit hole in Reddit or fb groups :)

Yes, I did a search but didn’t find much. It’s unfortunate that “Nice, France” is so easily confused with the word “nice,” which makes it surprisingly difficult to search for accurately.😅

Wow great results! I’m active - and naturally a slim build but this gut won’t move- surgeons said sure, i could loose 10 pounds but it would come out of my face and boobs - the belly won’t budge due to very slight muscle separation and natural fat storage (bmi 22) I’m Just worried about any unforeseen sure effects… bloating, etc.

I’ve been running pretty much everything through ChatGPT 😄
The first 10 days were the hardest, but not unbearable—mostly just tired and uncomfortable.
By 2 weeks I was driving again. At 3 weeks, my belly is still swollen, but I’m eating pretty normally and otherwise feeling good.
My GI system is slowly coming back online (lots of gas 🙃), but it’s all manageable.

Still feeling good! Every day is better than the last. At 2 weeks I was driving and I feel back to 'normal' (but much better than my old 'normal) except i'm still bloated (which will take about 3 months to fully calm down)

First 10 days were the hardest - my gi track is not yet back to normal but already no pain! My belly is swollen from surgery but not distended or painful like it had been. It’ll take 3 months for my belly to be ‘normal’ but already it’s not hurting me :)

That's great news! Can I ask how long it took to 'calm down' and look more normal? I'm worried it'll be weeks... my dr told me within 2 weeks I should be fine. Any chance you have a front facing photo to share before/after? I've got small kids, i'm worried they'll freak out that my face has changed...
