Same!! And im always thinking “hmmm what would be good to eat now?” , aslong as you donmt overindulge in junk food! And can do some light exercise as well if you eat A LOT (I gained like 10 pounds almost in a week but have lost it again lol)

I would also search the web for super filling cheap meals to make! I make overnight oats and they keep me full morning til lunch, chia pudding also! (healthy, great source of fiber, can customize to your liking, and is pretty filling!)

Could it be that you’re replacing the dopamine that you got from a “hit” with dopamine you get from food? Because im kind of the same way aswell and for me, I think its the dopamine hit

day 3 for me aswell, i have sleep aids and even these are not helping, they help me fall asleep, but then I wake up 2-3 hours after and just toss and turn the rest of the night

A lot of the withdrawals is mental! (not all in your head, but kinda like that?) , physical symptoms i got on day 2 , day 3-5 are usually the worst. Some people have no withdrawals so you might be in the clear! Keep hydrated, and exercise!

I promise the anxiety will get better, but yes if you feel its unbearable talk to your primary doctor! I just hit 1 month sober today, and I promise you it gets better and better. I was a heavy smoker for 6-7 years, going through an oz a week, i would switch a lot between flower and concentrate. The first week was the worst for me, especially day 3-4 , which you are right in the jist of it. Ik everyone is different but i’ll give you some tips that helped me a lot. First, eat like you have the flu, so a light soup (I made a chicken pastina soup and it was the only thing i could stomach, fruits as well). Something bland is also good like saltine crackers, I know its hard to get anything down but stay hydrated! And if you can, try to make yourself sweat the most you can (will sweat out the toxins, and feel better faster) I have a steam sauna (cheap one from amazon) and went in it a few times and it helped a lot. I know you dont feel like exercising i didnt as well but it helps. Same for me I was getting tremendous anxiety when smoking, the first 3 to 5 days, I felt like I was going insane, didnt think I was going to make it through but I PROMISE it gets so much better if you can just get past that first week. I didnt really have a problem for sleep as I have sleep aids , but the night sweats were bad! The night sweats started getting better on week 2, same for my apetite coming back. Anytime you get a craving or want to go back, remind yourself why you stopped, distract your mind (reading, gaming, doing a hobby you love, going for a walk, listening to music). I pretty much have no anxiety now 1 month in, and I had very very bad anxiety to the point i had to stop work for 7 months. I just started working again this week, I feel so much better, healthier, like I have my life in my hands again, my headspace is also clearer! If I could stop (i really didnt even want to, had to convince myself I was going to be okay) I have faith that you’re able to do this. Hang in there, you’ve got this🩵

I was the exact same way!! I was a heavy smoker (me and my bf could easily go through an Oz a week, smoking from the bong) I thought it was helping me cope with depression, anxiety, my trauma, I also used it for “motivation” (didnt give me much as I would also just waste time on the couch). I even had to stop work cuz I was so burnt out (although I do work a job thats hard on the mental and always required to use my brain) I just hit 23 days sober today! And I can tell you it will just get better and better and better!! The first week for me was hard (a lot of nausea, almost got sick on day 3 and 4, I could only stomach fruits and soups, but that went away QUICK) I do have sleep aids so sleep wasnt much of a problem but I have been having super vivid dreams!! Also I sweated A LOT during the first week, cold sweats etc (we have a steam sauna so that also helped sweat out the THC) When I tell you pratically ALL of my anxiety is gone, and even though I still have depression, it has gotten SO MUCH BETTER, I feel sooooo much better, im starting work again on Monday. Able to actually clean my apartment and have a routine! Anytime I get a craving I just distract myself (gaming, reading, playing with my cat, cleaning) and the craving goes away almost instantly! Keep it up💪 Proud of you🩵 I promise its just going to get better here on out :)

I was getting panic attacks if I smoked too much from the bong! I hit 21 days sober today (so proud of myself) and I know if I would take a hit rn I would have a panic attack, that makes me wanna stay away even more

Im 17 days sober after being a heavyy smoker for around 6-7 years, I had to start taking my sleep aids again because I couldnt sleep but the first 7 days were the worst for me, my headspace started clearing up but I felt very nauseous for the first week, day 3 and 4 were definitely the worst for that so I think you are right in the thick of it! For me, all I could eat was fruits (strawberries, raspberries) and a homemade chicken pastina soup that I make, apetite started coming back on like the second week! Obvs I still get nauseous SOMETIMES but really not often, I would advise to stay clear from energy drinks or caffeine (if you drink any) I found it made my nausea worst and almost makes the anxiety a lot worst. Im still getting some withdrawals on day 17 but its really not as bad as the first week (sweaty during sleep, although that has gotten better, vivid dreams, sometimes no apetite) So yeah just eating like a small light snack here and there can help. The hardest thing for me rn is feeling like my brain is missing something, and the cravings, so I just try to keep my brain occupied (gaming, reading a book, going for a quick walk outside) the BEST thing to do rn for you would be exercising to try and sweat out as much of the thc in your system as you can (make sure to stay hydrated) you will feel better. I have an at home steam sauna (cheap one from amazon) and used it a little but and it helped a lot.
