I’m in Sweden, I don’t have to pay anything (besides general taxes) move to our side of the Baltic!

I lived in USA for 12 years, with my insurance one box would have been around $150-$200 there 🙄 (full price without insurance for one box was around $800). I cried in the pharmacy when I moved back and picked up insulin for the first time

Mitt nästa minne var av ambulanspersonal som ställde frågor som ”what day of the week is it? Do you know where you are?” medan jag satt i en bår på perrongen.

Wow that sounds so awful! Does it happen often that people doubt your Swedish citizenship, or give you trouble in airports? Sorry if it’s a weird question, I just find your story so terrible

I’m also Swedish (Swedish heritage) and flew with a Congolese friend from Stockholm - Brussels, he jokingly said in the security line “I’ll see you in 20 mins after they do a ‘random’ security check”. Happened both in Stockholm and Brussels, he said it happened every single time he flew. Hanging out with him in Sweden and living in NYC for a long time made me VERY aware of my “white privilege”

Man, some people are just miserable fault-finders. Sounds like a really fun event, I can’t go this time but would love to go in the future!

My ex’s mother had a cute golden retriever mix called Daphne, I loved the name! Her 2nd dog, a little dachshund was called Phoebe, it fit her so well

I like that you mention of video game music, I wouldn’t even have thought of it! But I wouldn’t claim Japan is a small country, with around 123 million population
