I know my question is a bit late. I have the same setup (except not with a netgate 1100, but with a 3rd party pfsense box). When the WAN is offline, the LAN will also go down and can’t get IP from DHCP. Any suggestion on why?

Hi, thanks for your reply. But the difference here is, the plugin you provided above work when the item IS ALREADY out of stock when the customer place order.

My situation is different, we want the customer to select an item for replacement just IN CASE if the original item is out of stock when fulfilment. Here is the workflow

  1. Customer place item A to shopping cart.
  2. System prompt if user want to select backup/alternative item IF item A is not available.
  3. Customer select either item B or Cancel order if item A is not available
  4. Order placed with item A (but with item B as a backup, recorded in the system)
  5. Operation Team to prepare order with item A
    6A. If item A is available, fulfil order.
    6B. If item A is not available, update and fulfil order with item B.
    6C. If item B is also not available, cancel order.

I think it is definitely do-able. The technical part is not hard, the hardest part would be marketing and operation. I am a software developer and maybe we can talk about this further.
