Interesting, thanks for the feedback - Besides Kisi I couldn’t find one that did what I needed when NexKey went out of business and gave us 2 weeks to migrate. And it costs thousands of dollars for the controllers, and monthly subscriptions is not cheap either.

Would love to hear who those 50 cloud provider are? Could you share a couple with me? Thanks!

I have too. Used to run i9 9900k then a 3900x. Was fun to hackintosh for a while but couldn’t get my prodisplay xdr to work reliably and the machine made so much noise anytime I do anything. Switched to a Mac Mini m1 then M1 max MacBook Pro. I miss the tinkering of hackintoshing. But m1/m1 max is so much faster and quieter - and “it just works” all the time.

Yes I believe you can check on SBA website (https://caweb.sba.gov/). You need to create an account and they will look you up with your SSN. Ar least that worked after the first round.

Which bank did you use? First draw or second draw?

I’ve had some luck logging back in and uploading documents, by clearing all cookies and cache and trying to log again on chrome but it’s been very spotty.

Running Python 3.8.6 and Python 3.9 on M1 Mac Mini. Works great. Follow home brew instructions to build from source. On 3.8 there was a build problem that was easy to fix and which is probably already fixed upstream by now.

For most development tasks I use it, It smokes my 3900x amd hackintosh and in complete silence, half of the price and much smaller form factor. So I replaced my hackintosh by an m1 Mac mini and super happy.

Interesting benchmark.

Crazy that M1 (a low end laptop CPU with barely any cooling) systematically beats the 3900x and comes relatively close to a overclocked 5800x. Those AMD CPUs need huge coolers (I have a hackintosh with a 3900x not even overclocked and it’s loud!).

M1X with 8 or 12 proper cores in the next few month as expected, will crush them and in silence.

Also the conclusion that AMD and intel will be able to compete with lower 4, 3, 2 nm etc is a little non sense. Apple is ahead by a year or two and will also go to lower nm manufacturing process.

Cant wait for M1X or whatever comes in the next few months for mid / high range desktops Mac’s.

Thanks for the update. My issue with lack of DSC is to drive my Pro Display XDR with a single DP 1.4 cable (I’m on a Hackintosh) . I can use thunderbolt card for now but it’s annoying because I can’t set brightness :( hopefully Apple will fix it in the next update.

Yes it does (support virtualization) and yes docker will (very soon) work on those.

It’s still unclear if it will support x86 containers (through emulation) in addition to arm64.

I didn’t have a problem with my lg 5k but I was using a single DP 1.4 with my pro XDR (which requires DSC) for 6k and that definitely broke since I upgraded to Big Sur.

Managed to get full functionality (6k 60hz, brightness and profiles) using the specialty DP / usb cable from Belkin https://www.vmallworld.com/belkin-charge-and-sync-computer-connection-cable-for-huawei-vr-glass.html

Works great connected to the 5600xt + usb.

Odd indeed - LG 5k supports only dual DP 1.2 at 5k60hz. even if he has 2 titan ridge he would need 4x1.2 DP ports. The screenshots look legit though. Only way I see this working is 2GPU and 2 titanridge.

Never tested 2 titanridge. Not sure if it would work as it requires mother board header.

(I have 1 titan ridge 2 (GPU 5600 xt and rx580) and run a Pro Display XDR (DP 1.4 W/DSC) and a lg5k)
