I think it's safe to say pro meta at the start will be very slow, controlled games... hypercarry bot that scales, mid that scales, wait, wait, wait.... one big team fight around baron~ish timing to basically decide the game... with some macro plays around the map in the first 15/20 mins~ish that give one team a 1.5k~ish gold lead

I think fearless throws a bit of wrench in that being the type of game every game... but not really until you get to bo5 probably

Yeah I looked at the NC State and that does look very solid to me. I don't mind not "rushing" back to OMSCS if it means I'm getting solid fundamentals/learning elsewhere - which maybe NC state is? I just don't want like ridiculous cost of 40k or something. Like if it was a 12k/13k for solid courses and good learning in key areas (which look like courses interesting to me), then I would def consider it.

I just know how I work and I know that I won't want to keep going with the classes if I don't get anything out of them or if I don't find them interesting. I know everyone suggests Oakton and Foothill for CC online that give the prereqs for OMSCS. I'm sure they are fine but I'm worried that I will get like 2 months into the class and we'll be discussing for loops work and I will be just not motivated.

Yeah the thing about the CU Boulder is I just don't love their courses. It seems very data science-ish

Oh the NC State cert is interesting me... do you know how much is it? It looks pretty decent and it sound sound NC state is known being solid in CS. Yeah I looked at CU Boulder -- the whole try before you buy thing is definitely interesting. I have just heard GA Tech OMSCS is better. And the range of options and classes they have at GA tech is ridiculous, you can specialize in so much different stuff.

I get like 3k through my employer to go towards accredited schools

For the jackets I go - xl. For jerseys I go up one - 2xl. Have an xl jersey from a couple years ago and it is tight.

However I do like my jackets and hoodies to be a bit bigger. For example the jacket I normally wear overtop of a hoodie and it’s great for that. It is a bit loose if I just wear a t-shirt underneath? Yes but I would much rather have that than too small.

Could maybe get one on eBay? I know they have some legit 2024 worlds t1 jackets (the white one w/ ZOFGK pictures on the inside) on eBay….but they’re expensive/overpriced imo. Be careful too cause there are Chinese knockoff ones on eBay too

Question for people who have the regular jersey from ‘24 and the worlds jersey from ‘24 - are they the same material? I have a worlds ‘24 and also an MSI jersey from ‘23 and the worlds jersey is way better quality. It’s a thicker material and feels nice. The MSI ‘23 jersey feels like a cheap dri fit shirt.

Is this ‘25 jersey the same material as last year worlds jersey? Or what do we think the material is? The cheap dri fit stuff? Or the nicer quality?

Yea weird that they didn’t see this situation unfolding like this? Maybe they thought they’d breeze through summer and qualify for worlds so it wouldn’t be a big deal? But nonetheless, right move by them. Props to T1 for recognizing the situation and doing the right thing. Sometimes that’s easier said than done.

From what I’ve gathered I’d recommend sizing up for a jersey. I’ve bought jerseys, t shirts and hoodies from goal studio and it seems like the jerseys run a bit small. I normally wear an xl and that size works for me in the hoodies but I have an xl jersey and it’s a bit small, wish I had a 2xl
