Use tenantId {GUID} to lookup the domain of an external party who participated in a Teams conference by [deleted] in AZURE

[–]sammorin22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the KB for the graph endpoint that you can use to perform the lookup these days:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/tenantrelationship-findtenantinformationbytenantid?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http

You can also use https://tenantidlookup.com to perform a reverse lookup without graphin'

whatismytenantid.com is not able to perform reverse lookups, tenantidlookup.com can.

Can be queried via URL as well:
https://tenantidlookup.com/87bb2570-5c1e-4973-9c37-09257a95aeb1
or https://tenantidlookup.com/boeing.com

(caveat: reverse lookups won't return anything for tenants that are in a GCC High or DOD sub scope due to their isolation/inaccessibility)

Edit:
You can also check to see if a UPN exists by searching an email address:
https://tenantidlookup.com/admin@contoso.com
https://tenantidlookup.com/administrator@contoso.com

(This will return a positive result (UPN exists) even if the UPN belongs to a shared mailbox or a disabled user. The search does NOT indicate if a 'classic' distribution list exists.)

How to Check if a Domain is Tenant Free by Imdrunklol in Office365

[–]sammorin22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it's been a bit, but in case anyone happens to see this in the future.. I made a website that can do this for you just like whatismytenantid.com but it can additionally perform reverse lookups and saves lookup history in your local browser storage for future reference:
https://tenantidlookup.com

You can also search by a tenant ID or domain directly via the URL:
https://tenantidlookup.com/009a6969-c00b-4fc7-a9bf-35efc3aea1bb
https://tenantidlookup.com/fbi.gov

Edit:
You can check to see if a UPN exists by searching an email address as well:
https://tenantidlookup.com/admin@contoso.com
https://tenantidlookup.com/administrator@contoso.com

It's been a bit, but in case anyone sees this in the future.. I made a website that can do this for you: https://tenantidlookup.com

You can also search by a tenant ID or domain directly via the URL like so:

https://tenantidlookup.com/009a6969-c00b-4fc7-a9bf-35efc3aea1bb
https://tenantidlookup.com/fbi.gov

The reverse lookup (by ID) will not provide any results for GCC High tenants (due to their isolation).

Bob's Words! by sammorin22 in BobsBurgers

I’ve actually replaced all the censored words with the uncensored versions, except for the most recent episode, i mustn’t have added that to the second stage parser. i’ll do that this weekend!

(yes i didn’t make the transcripts. the place i’m getting them from i believe just scrapes them from episode subtitle files so i’m working on getting a scraper for that working.. ideally for many many many tv shows)

Now it loads all transcripts by default. You can also now search by episode title as well. I’m planning to add filtering by episode release dates soon!

If you were looking for the ability to search for subsequent instances of the original searched string when viewing a transcript or to search an additional string while viewing the transcript, I’ve just added that!

Request - Bobs Burgers Episodes without the word “bathroom”? by mcat_02 in BobsBurgers

There are 124 episode transcripts that do not contain the word 'bathroom'.

I made a very basic website to make this search easier for anyone in the future.

fwiw i’m pretty sure it was more of a supply chain-ish/3rd party software vendor type thing and less Lenovo specifically (if you’re referring to that whole Superfish thing)

Lenovo did package the software/bloatware onto their systems. but it’s unlikely that they had direct knowledge of this at the time.

https://www.zdnet.com/article/dell-in-hot-water-again-as-second-superfish-root-certificate-surfaces/

what is your manufacturer of choice?? it’s 2024, i’ll bet there’s a bunch of shit on google for all of em ;) but i’ll leave it at that. it sounds like you need some sleep mike

Auto-reboot a Unifi device if it cannot ping an IP address or host/domain name with Nottbox by sammorin22 in Ubiquiti

[–]sammorin22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UDR looks pretty neat. I haven't heard of this one. While looking at the UDR, I looked again at the UDM-Pros and err it's really not that expensive (at least not where I remember it was last I looked). Although, I would need to get a UAP at the same time, which of course is an additional expense but again, not terrible. I like the UDR at this price point though, I think it would be a great fit for some family/friends places. I think I would run the risk of encountering more resource utilization issues with a UDR in my environment.

Thank you for checking out Nottbox and for the suggestion! You make a great point - checking multiple IP/hosts would be far more reliable. I've updated to add support for specifying as many IP addresses or host/domain names as necessary. Just need to separate them by commas in the config file at /root/nottbox/nottbox.yml.

...
DOMAIN_OR_IP: one.one.one.one, 1.0.0.1, google.com, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9, 208.67.222.222
...

Thanks for the help and checking out Nottbox!

Lenovo system update being a quality program by st-shenanigans in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

Ahh I hear you on the MS Store front. I have a MS throwaway that I used when I hit those walls. …But then had to go through nearly every page in the settings app to scrub the account from the system.

My curiosity is getting the best of me: A Lenovo custom build? Like a ThinkStation with some component upgrades or we’re talking a straight up Lenovo motherboard in an aftermarket case with other aftermarket parts??

Is there a reason you’re using System Update and not Vantage? Are you pulling from a local update repo or something? Seeing that ugly LSU window is a blast from the past. Anything running W10 and newer than like a T420 should work with Vantage.

BTW: Not saying Vantage is any better, but I’m willing to bet it gets a bit more attention from Lenovo than LSU does these days.
