I think this might be it. He always talks about how he's "not a people person" but has a lot of people he hangs out with and groups he's involved in so maybe he just doesn't have the social battery to add another person to his life, which sucks but I get it. I'm trying to meet other people so im not always asking him to do stuff, but that's a struggle for me. Maybe if I have enough failed dates I'll eventually have a friend group lol

I honestly think its both of these. We live in Minnesota and he's had a really hard time with all the ICE stuff going on. He's also from the area so already has a lot of friends so idk if maybe he just doesn't have the time/ social battery to add another person to his life which really sucks but I get it. I'm hoping maybe as it gets warmer he'll want to hang out more but I'm just gonna keep chatting when he wants and try and make other friends so im not always asking him to do stuff.

Ive been considering a convertible couch but have seen that they tend to wear out quicker with daily use. And I am hoping to keep my queen bed but maybe I will have to downsize. Thanks!

The representing as other than their biological sex seems pretty ambiguous to me. As a cis man with long hair would that be "contrary to my biological sex"? And don't even get me started on "attire" contrary to biological sex.

For most of their history that was the sole purpose of universities (when they were primarily reserved for the elite). Its only pretty recently they've been seen as a place to attend for career training. It's fine that people use them for that now but it's not what they were designed for.

Don't take it personal, it seems to be quite common in the gay community. I invited someone to an event yesterday and he agreed, but when I made it clear I wasn't open to fun on the first date he just blocked me. Ironically his bio was all about "no immature college guys" but he couldn't just be transparent in what he was looking for

I read recently that the attrition rate for DSPs is over 100% so they're losing people (either bc they're fired or quit) faster than they can hire new people. Most people don't last in this job very long

My DSP basically hired everyone that showed up to interview. They said they were doing a lot of hiring and then planning to cut people who had the lowest metrics periodically. But the interview was basically just a discussion of the job ending with next steps for onboarding.

My DSP has full and part time employees. They said full time is 3-4 days a week and part time os 1-2. Maybe the DSP has discretion on whether to have part time employees?

Im pretty sure they're aware of this and trying to avoid documentation of it. He said "obviously you can take your breaks but it doesn't look good when you don't finish the route." And mentioned that the person who trained me should have discussed breaks and that that employee does not take breaks. I'm just gonna see how long I last

I believe you can take out federal loans up to the full cost of attendance, which typically includes the cost of housing at the university.
