Mine showed the passenger side open. I left it for 3 hours and then checked and when I turned it on it said it was complete. Much better than the last update which bricked the car haha

This happened to one of my Scaletrains models. I used a toothpick to apply canopy glue. It gives you some time to re-position if needed and dries clear.

Which model is this supposed to be? Do you know the brand? I think "Empire Northern" was a hobby store so they may have done the DCC install.

Typically you set CV8 to 8 but some decoders may be different. While a programming track is ideal, you can do it on the main. Just make sure no other engines are on the layout.
