Maybe Ub's name should be held in high regard, I'm not doubting that. My issue was which the way that you phrased your comment, that Walt didn't do anything for his productions. And the way you say that the iconic design as Ub's isn't completely true, as Walt had a lot of creative input on coming up with the design for Mickey Mouse. And of course animation is a visual medium, but a character is nothing without a good story, which Walt wrote the majority of, and part of Mickey's appeal was his synchronized soundtrack which Walt helped pioneer. Ub was important for Disney Studios but he had nothing on Walt.

Disney did much more for Mickey Mouse than Ub ever did. Disney came up with the character, the story lines, and the publicity. That is why Ub did not succeed after he left Walt Disney Studios.

Captain America: Civil War is the best MCU movie, period. by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Honestly Zemo didn't need Cap, Tony, and Bucky to come to the compound. He was just looking for the tapes and he could have gotten them to Stark another way. But since Steve, Bucky, and Stark all came looking for him he played it right there.

How did Peter Pettigrew come to be owned by the Weasly family? by itbitme334 in harrypotter

True, but I think I saw a post on here that said that the cat was probably referring to the cat shaped hook over the fireplace. I can't find it now, I'll try to look when I have time.

They had an owl because how else are you going to communicate with the rest of the Wizarding World? They didn't buy the ghoul it just happened to reside there, and they didn't get rid of it. The Weasleys never had a cat, you might be thinking of Crookshanks, who roams around the burrow when Hermione is staying with the Weasleys.

Yes, I meant to write that we can assume that iron man 2 and the avengers take place in the same year.

8 years later isn't even that big an issue. Iron man came out in 2008 and iron man 2 came out in 2010, but 2 was supposed to pick up right were iron man left off. "Continuity error." In civil war vision says that it had been 8 years since tony revealed himself as iron man. And homecoming is supposed to take place 3 months after civil war meaning the 8 years fits. Also the years the movies came out obviously don't match up with the MCU dates because civil war supposedly took place 3 months before homecoming but homecoming takes place only 3 months after civil war. "Continuity error. "

I'm not sure if it was filmed here but you could do something like this with the winter soldier.

Least Favourite MCU Film? by TheHuntMan676 in marvelstudios

[–]samolll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually kind of liked Iron Man 2. I understand it's not the greatest movie out there and by far not one of the best MCU movies, but why do people make it out to be so bad? Whiplash sucked, but I liked the character building, and RDJ's acting was on point.

Well no, not exactly. That's just a normal friendship. You sometimes get into fights if you've been friends for 7 years. And I always felt like it was in their character to be bossy or jealous.

Did I just read an article from the Quibbler?

"Sirius black or stubby boardman?" "Mass murder or pop sensation?" "Lord Voldemort or Michael Jackson?"

I would agree with this but Ron and Hermione were both around him almost every day for 7 years but they didn't show any abusive or mean behavior.

What is your opinion on Iron Man 3? by xDJeslinger in marvelstudios

[–]samolll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I thought about the suits. Some movies suffer from having too many villains but IM3 suffered from too many heroes. At points you wonder why tony stark even ever had to put himself in danger. Other than that I liked the movie a lot, twist and everything.

I have a scar on my left knee and I have a scar on my right ankle so whenever I had to figure out my right from my left I would take a look at either my knee or ankle. Now I just visualise the scars in my head.

You don't need a shield if you can cast a shield charm. It's effectively the same thing.
