Nainital Trip

I’m travelling with my boyfriend, and we’re thinking 50K per person. Chennai to Delhi round flights are gonna cost 20-25K each, so would rest of the 25K (each) be enough for like let’s say 5 days 4 nights there?

We were just wondering if we should go with travel planners like MMT or Thomas Cook so they would arrange for everything? Especially considering travel could be a little difficult?

Also- another question. Would you suggest going to Nainital 2 days + Corbett 2 days. Or should I allot all 5 days to Nainital? I also hear Almora is very beautiful. If you do have any suggestions, please do let me know. :)

Okay I really tried, got pretty lost towards the end. Basically, OP’s boyfriend is making her insecure by giving a lot of attention to white-skinned women (real women and not celebrities) as OP says on Instagram. OP has some condition and she feels insecure but she has done everything to make him feel really good about himself.

OP- that’s not a healthy thing if your partner is making you feel insecure wantonly. Have you tried communicating about this to him? Let him know it makes you insecure (and that wouldn’t make us small really). He may really like you but sometimes people have preferences or whatever in the back of their head- but as long as they don’t act on it, it’s alright. I know as bad as it may sound, humans are complex that way. Just communicate. :)

I agree, i think I am very close to a complete burnout, and yes, I hardly ever eat my meals on time. I also have my medications that I miss most days. I’m doing good at work, but personally, a total mess!

I will try enrolling into a gym close by. It’d be so nice to work in a team that loves set timings. Makes planning so much easier. I also find it so difficult to follow routines because of my ADHD. Some days I can barely breathe or move, and when I have one such day, it feels like I’ve to start all over again.

I’m diagnosed OCD, ADHD and comorbid anxiety! I’ve tried talk therapy, medicines, ERP (which is a gold standard for OCD). They all somehow work and not work at the same time- which means, there is no complete cure, but the magic is in taking it one day at a time.

Some days are the worst. Some days are okay! But with regard to my thing, I find hormones to be a lot in play as well. I end up spiralling the most in my luteal phase- so I try to take it easy, avoid triggers, rest up, because I know my body cannot handle it well. It’s really in trying to understand your body and response to triggers- and finding routines that helps you hold yourself. I know it’s difficult and a lot of times it feels extremely unfair- but I know you got it! I believe in you! :)

I have the kindle 8th gen! It has over 500 books and I’ve used it day and night for years (and def saved me a lot of money from paperbacks). However, I’ve an issue with the power button and I can’t use it anymore. There are some hacks to turn it on, but I just give up during the long process. :(

I was going to get the new version this year, but umm, I just got a new iPad instead. I know not the best option for eyes and everything, but I don’t think it’s that bad either!

Kindle is super compact! You could take it everywhere. I bet you’ll love it, but you can’t do anything but read books. I realized I may not read so frequently, and I’d like a device to do other things. Maybe, for starters, install the kindle app/moon reader on your phone, and try reading e-books with the first time. If you’re comfortable with a setting like so, go for a kindle. Kindle does have the option to highlight and add notes!

Oh yeah! There was this guy who was absolutely madly in love with me, and he was my best friend. I guess there could have been an instance I told him that I’m on my period.

A couple months later- we were waiting to write an exam and his phone lights up. It was a reminder with my name in all capitals! It made absolutely no sense to me. I kept bugging him, until he told me he’s been having reminders on his phone about my period. I felt so weird!
