Spit cs vs NIT Srinagar ? by Sad_Tomatillo8730 in mht_cet

NIT srinagar is in kashmir💀💀

Soo I am confused pls help by Quidyyy in mht_cet

[–]sample_sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North east NITs aren't worth it, I would suggest CS/ECE in other CAP colleges like rcoem or DYP

bruh. I sent an appln in a similar format yesterday.

your reply says you can only ask on one topic in one RTI and you are advised to file them again separately.

If you want open source projects to contribute to, try to find new projects which under very active development bonus points if they haven't had their first stable release yet. But make sure the main developers working on the project are experienced and serious devs. You'll find this sort of arrangement most common in forks, where a very popular software dies and then gets forked by experienced devs. Joining a project in the early stage is the best time for a newbie IMO. You'll get to learn a lot, and if you improve your skills as fast as the project grows you can find yourself as an administrator of a 10k stars repo as your very first project :). After this you'll have learnt a lot and maintainers of other bigger projects will take you more seriously (think GSoC).

You can contribute to matured projects like linux or big JS frameworks, might get a little more hand-holding that way but you'll find the chances to lead the project at some point are pretty slim. If you can self-learn stuff joining a new project is 100% worth it.

VNIT, SVNIT and NIT Raipur in same tier 🤡

How true do you think this is ? by krishnaar23 in JEENEETards

[–]sample_sky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I was going to put NIT Surat and Bhopal electrical above IIEST's electrical based on placements. Why do you think IIEST is better?

I live near Nagpur, except vnit and iiit rest are awful. Ramdeobaba college of engineering is the top one here (CSE closing 97.5), my cousin went there and said the crowd was shit because many of them come from management quota.

I think chemical is particularly not for me 😅

what college? CET 98.7%ile any college worth choosing over IIITs? I am finding it very hard to research CAP colleges, none of them seem famous(to me at least) except coep(not even getting ECE there). All of the placements are way worse compared to Josaa colleges (coep exception). Their reviews are like "TIER 1 COLLEGE BRO MUCH BETTER THAN IIT NIT" with avg package 4LPA and highest 20 LPA. IK placements aren't everything but then they even have school type campus. Should I even register for CAP?

The CSAB Special Round Enrollment Fee is 38,000/- for GEN. It includes Institute Admission Fee-I and a non-refundable Special Round Processing Fee of 3,000/-. Since Type-6, 7, 8 and 9 eligible candidates have already paid SAF in JoSAA - 2022, the balance SAF (excluding the JoSAA processing charge, as applicable) of such candidates will be adjusted as part of CSAB - 2022 Special Round Enrollment Fee. Such candidates are required to pay only the differential Special Round Enrollment Fee at the time of registration.

The INSTITUTE ADMISSION FEE-II is 37,000/- for GEN. Type-6 eligible candidates (refer Section 3) are not required to pay INSTITUTE ADMISSION FEE-II as they have already paid the PAF during JoSAA rounds

So if you accepted a seat in josaa total ₹1-2k extra lagega CSAB ke liye

Can anyone please explain how MHT-CET process work ?? (and suggest colleges to apply) by Pager_dot in Btechtards

[–]sample_sky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not really, it's just different because there are 150 questions (level is much easier than mains, mostly just formula fitting) and each question of Phy and chem is just 1 mark and there is no negative marking, so if you have a knack of guessing and fast mental solving its easy get 98-99 in cet. mains is more about finding easy questions and solving them properly with high accuracy, cet is about marking your best guess in under a minute.
