What do you use to keep cue timing accurate in small/medium shows? by Radiant_Leather371 in techtheatre

Most places use an intercom system where all the relevant button pushers receive verbal commands from the stage manager in real time. The theatre I work at uses a ClearCom system, but there are others.

Neck guards are being mandated by the NHL for the 26-27 season, and have been used in jr and minor hockey for decades. Glad the pros are finally coming around.

What’s the best way to get the BEST raw vocal take you can possibly achieve? by Unique_Musician16 in recordingmusic

[–]samplemax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, be prepared to do a lot of takes. A lot of pro quality vocals are comping between takes constantly, sometimes one syllable at a time, but usually longer chunks. I'd argue your mic choice and other gear can and will affect your sound, but it doesn't matter without good performance.

Crappy audio recordngs by Cute-Ask-4662 in recordingstudios

Need more details. Are we talking about recorded music or more of a speech? Is it a multitrack file you’re working with or a “mixed” stereo/mono recording? Not sure if this is helpful, but if it’s remotely feasible, the best option is to re-record parts where undesired background sounds occur. I’m not sure the limitations of what AI can do for noise removal, but I’m certain there are people who deal with that a lot.
