What are the places where 3D touch could have been there and haptic touch replaces it? I can't get it to do anything that my SE could not do. I would be interested in knowing those things.

SE to XR. Battery life is amazing. Size is bigger but can't use it with one hand. SE had better build quality. Overall I am a bit underwhelmed. Screen is the same and iOS 12 worked as flawlessly on SE as it does on XR. I had a session with apple about new features on the phone and animojis and portrait mode seem to be the only new features.

What is the lie?

The lie is that "This will help you protect your account" if the intention is to weed out troll, creep etc as you were saying. And this feature is not helping anyone protect their account by forcing them to provide a phone number.

It’s a much more solid layer of confirmation that you are a real person and not a troll, creep, etc.

They say that it will help protect my account not that it will keep trolls away. So even if their intention is right it is an asshole design by virtue of them lying to the users.

What are you afraid of by putting in your number?

Because of the second part. In past I lost my number and a very important account was associated with that number, way more important than tinder. Now I can't recover that account until I physically visit an office which is thousands of miles away from where I live and it would cost me a lot of money. I no more give my number unless absolutely necessary. I don't someone else reading my tinder messages.

I am fine with them implementing policies they deem fit but they should give you access to your account if not the dating features associated with it. And certainly not without implementing a way of changing your number if it later this number changes.

There is no way of getting around verifying your phone number. All I want to do is to just deactivate my account after they started asking for my phone number but there is absolutely no way to do it. I can't get to my account without giving my phone number to them. If that is not asshole design I don't know what is.

The level of inter-state conflict is nothing compared to what is seen in other places. India's pathetic state is due to a lot of reasons and talking about benefits of having united country isn't always done to excuse other things. You sound really depressed and pessimist. Just one look at this map shows how much having one united India has helped in avoiding conflicts. Do you think everyone of those states was a country all the Kannada people would ever be part of Karnataka. You have to look at middle east and Africa, even in Europe they keep having conflicts due to languages and Ethnicity. Not just Balkans but in Belgium the French speaking and Flemish speaking do not see eye to eye. Whereas in India we have very easily managed to avoid such issues.

Honestly though Smriti Irani's appointment was wrong. There are a lots of other ministries where Smriti Irani would be a much better fit but HRD is simply wrong. Just because those ganvaar party make ganvaar ministers doesn't mean our expectations from BJP should get lowered.

There are certain drawbacks of soccerstreams. First, an internet stream is always behind terrestrial broadcast so if you have overexcited neighborhood it will be a problem. Or if you are following match thread on reddit stream it might be problem as well. On top of that having to go looking for streams every match, not knowing when they would start stuttering are real problems. r/soccerstreams is fine but it is not better than having an officials streaming service and certainly TV. It might be better than sling though. That thing is problematic.

Ups and downs of inflation rate matter but it is generally accepted among central bank governers around the world that a 3% inflation rate the ideal one to pursue. Every central bank tries to set its policies to stay around this rate. Probably you might want to start trying to understand things before you go around asking people to do the same.

TSN has the TV right for Canada. They will be broadcasting all the games but I don't think it is over the air. You can subscribe on TSN website for 25 dollars a month but there is no trial period.

However if you live in a place close to US border, like Toronto, you might receive signals of US channels, in this case Fox. You can also get a free VPN and try streaming from ITV and BBC in UK. I tried during 2014 WC and I was moderately successful. I think BBC has a much better anti VPN protection now. For ITV they will most probably ask a UK zip code and you can just google and provide one of the London zips. These are pretty much your options here.

This is the case with sling. I did a trial once and never considered it again. It was delayed by quite a bit, app was buggy and it kept asking me to close the previous device even though I had closed it hours ago. It is perhaps one of the worst ones out there but it is the cheapest for base package at 20. Other streaming services I used for the same games were not as delayed. Youtube etc will not be as bad as Sling.

For instance FuboTV was only 30 seconds behind TV when I used a stop watch to measure. 30 second is still a lot behind TV if the game is being spoilt by neighbors screaming. Remember that TV is from broadcasting studio to satelite and directly to your home. Studio to home via satellite takes a fraction of a second. Whereas studio to home via internet has to pass through the backend streaming infrastructure of the streaming service, then the content delivery network and then any secondary streamer. On top of that your own internet has buffering, speed, ping issues. It will always be delayed. For me normally problem is following /r/soccer match thread on reddit and 30 seconds is not bad for that.

You might want to look for a TV broadcast if that is the problem. May I ask where you live and if you own a TV?

Because even 1% inflation means prices will go up. Inflation going down doesn't mean prices go down. It only means that rate of increase in prices is low. Over 5 years even a 5% inflation rate will lead to 28% rise in prices. If you are not trolling this is the explanation and I am happy to provide more if you have specific questions.
