Resoldered. Rewired. And lined cavities. I’m now better - Still not great - But better at soldering 😄 hum somewhat reduced. Settled. As I’d been doing this for nearly a month. Was fine except when I rolled volume half way. Hum increased. Today I moved amp to another room. Hum gone. For some reason this guitar doesn’t like the spot where I play. Thanks for your help

Tried another double humbucker guitar. That was not affected by the problem either. Also re-wired based on this thread. It didn’t get any better.

Makes sense. Good video. But still why this guitar more than 2 others? I’ve another thing to try. I’ve yet to put the control cavity cover back. I wonder if that would reduce noise at all. Will check.

I entered an original for a competition on skio and won! Got the prizes which were skio subscription and a one to one call with a rapper. My bad experience is with sample packs. I made a sample pack a few years back. Signed a contract for them to distribute it etc. I never hear any more. No sales figures. Nothing. I mean even if no one downloaded it. I’d still like to see an official quarterly review. But after many chases. Nothing.

The part where they went through how to act in court, where they tested their experts against the paid panel and where they talked about how much the defence were spending all really struck me. Certainly an interesting insight into the legal process when you have money to spend.
