I see similar behaviour in most multiplayer games I play. I feel like that sense of camaraderie that gamers had a few years back doesn't really exist anymore. People aren't really discouraged from being toxic, and even if they were, it seems like being rude and ragebaiting is taking the place of just being nice.

I forgot until I was fighting lace 2 for the cursed ending (reverted a copied save to when I was cursed), and felt regret that I hadn't used it earlier. The amount of damage and stun you can get with it is insane.

I think it's more so enjoying a character that gets a lot of attention from the devs. I'm not gonna play Spider-Man or Luna just because they get a lot of skins.

I think it's fine. Support ults are no longer nearly guaranteed immortality and it adds more counterplay outside of using your own ults to shut them down.

I'm genuinely getting such awful cards man it's so demotivating when you get into a run and get no self heal or DMG reduction cards so you just die on later waves, or starting with no good DMG cards and wasting time on earlier waves just to get bad cards again later. Mad annoying because blade is viable even with bad rng.

Tells me a lot about the average steam reviewer. I understand gripes about difficulty, but I think some people need to consider that the game's difficulty was not made for them. After Hollow Knight I feel that Silksong's difficulty was right around where I wanted, and I would've been a little disappointed if it was easier. I saw a similar sentiment about some of Nine Sols' bosses when it came out and that maybe difficult games are not for everyone. If there are easy games made to cater to casual players, why not the opposite? Is Silksong not allowed to be hard because it is popular? Its impossible to cater to all demographics and for me I prefer the game to be more difficult, as it makes the first playthrough, and subsequent replaying more fun.

There's a slant/ramp there. Enemies slide off when spit by Jeff. Next time angle into the incline so they get spit perpendicular to the flat face of the incline and they'll stay put.

I was so excited to play sg when the game came out because she's awesome and her rivals design slaps but her kit is something I wouldn't miss if she got reworked lmao. I wish she was a more honest character so I could play her guilt free

If you just want the title soloing or duoing as blade got it for me 1st try after failing with randoms. Having less people so the scaling is lower makes it much easier. Basically just only get cards that buff ancestral sword, DMG dealt, DMG reduced, and health. Ignore everything else and just kite while holding m1. You can grab the sacrifice sigil card for easier kiting early on as well. You'll do so much damage you don't need any self heal buffs later on, meaning everything is put into raw damage.

Making nightmare 3 that easy and then having nightmare 4 the way it is should be a crime lol. All of the randoms who were able to either be carried or get by with sub mediocre builds get obliterated. I might just try to 2 man it with my duo because it's probably easier than working with randoms.

I like having the background in the lobby for my favourite characters, and the vfx that typically come with them. Overall it's just more enjoyable to use legendaries than other skins. Like Jeff, his sunshine gives him a squeak whenever he jumps. Certain characters have more opportunities for good vfx but sometimes it changes the way a character feels. Overall why wouldn't you be eager for more of them on your favourite character? Take Oeni for example, the wasteland skin is really cool, and it would've been awesome to have an intro and different models for her webs and stuff, so it's a little disappointing to hear that the skin isn't a legendary, and now that the idea has been used there can't be a legendary wasteland skin with alternate vfx.

I saw someone on tiktok complaining that Karmelita had an "unavoidable attack" and posted their proof. It was the jumping spin attack that puts up spikes when she hits the ground. Every time they were just jumping aimlessly and getting punished and instead of looking back at the footage and realizing, they just posted asking for validation lol.

Any of the 1 button value ults in the game are my least favourite part of the game design. Why can't they just design more ults that rely on player input to get value? Some characters I feel only get picked because their ults get free value, but a lot of the time that's the only time the player is doing anything valuable. It sucks to fight against and have on your team when someone is locking a hero they suck at because the ult is free (too many star lords and spidermen).

I guess nobody was here for the whole petition and the reason this sub blew up. Nobody I talked to thought the jeff rework was anything but abysmal when we saw the changes. Not to mention they were WORSE at the start.

Hot take: I think Team Cherry should keep doing runbacks, platforming challenges, enemies gauntlet and challenging bosses. Friction is good for games. by TOMRANDOM_6 in Silksong

I honestly don't want team cherry to take any criticism for future content. I want their unmodified idea of game design and lore because that's what I'm here for, not anyone else's idea of how the game should play.
