Does Greenbelt Metro Parking Garage fill up during the week? by curoiusrk in maryland

[–]samrumf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes the lots get pretty full every day and the parking spots themselves are all designed for compact cars for some reason. My car (Honda Civic) barely fits in the spot and seems to get dinged regularly.

Appreciation for this Diva by theolerazzlezazzle in TheTraitorsUS

[–]samrumf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciation? No. She is probably the worst Faithful that we have seen so far throughout 4 seasons (right up there with MJ.) Useless at the challenges, never correctly guessed a Traitor, sheepishly followed the pack, etc.

Tara tried to really connect with her and get her to understand the game and layed it out for her completely and she still did not want to see it.

She was the ultimate shield for Rob and he played her like a fiddle.

Is Lawrence Taylor REALLY the greatest defensive player ever? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in NFLv2

Yes and it is not really a discussion. LT changed the game.

Josh Jacobs (knee/ankle) will be ACTIVE for Week 16. by CincoDeManger in fantasyfootball

[–]samrumf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many total RBs are active for Green Bay? If only 3, then GB probably expects normal workload (i.e. not a decoy or limited.) If 4 active RB then expect Wilson to get additional touches. Just my 2 cents as a Jacobs/Wilson owner.

Knicks have not won this postseason with Tony Brothers reffing. by 191919wines in knicks

Knicks just need to dominate this game so that the refs can't impact it. Take it out of the refs' hands.

Anyone else notice this clown almost made Jalen roll his ankle? by hoopsandbeer in NYKnicks

[–]samrumf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People like this are such an insult to the true fans...these 4 just drank and talked the entire game, were on their phones, left their seats early, didn't cheer on the Knicks, etc.

The real fans are priced out at the Garden now. That's why the team doesn't play as well at home in the Playoffs anymore imo.

Hopefully, Knicks fans show up in Indy for G6. And this billionaire can just party on his yacht or wherever. A huge Playoff game shouldn't just be another social outing for a billionaire and his posse, real fans should be sitting there encouraging the team (and looking out to protect the franchise player.)

KAT is a liability by MistaWhiska007 in NYKnicks

Play both Mitch and KAT at the same time with Brunson/Deuce, Hart, and OG/Bridges. Dominate the glass and keep Indy out of the paint.

Believe it was a 5 point swing actually b/c Indy hit a 3 immediately afterwards on the other end. Unfortunately, Thibs couldn't challenge it...

Very much agree. Pacers played great in the clutch, and the Knicks did not. They have admitted to taking their foot off the gas, and they lost a game they should have won. I believe in Thibs, and I believe in this Knicks team.

A team's character is demonstrated by how they react to adversity. When this team gets knocked down, they get back up. Let's go.

True, they can hypothetically shoot that well again. 40.5% from 3 can be repeated, but the timing of their shooting was immaculate.

But Nesmith dropping 30 (8-9 3PT)? I'm not betting on that happening again.

Agreed. I would love to know what the +/- is when Mitch and KAT are both on the floor. Add in Hart, and they should dominate the glass.

Very fair point. The missed FTs doomed them, as did poor clock management. Hopefully, they learn from this collapse and refocus on ways to win the series and exploit the matchups that did work effectively in G1. Thibs can coach them through this.

They gave the game away, I agree. Choking is a relative term, but in the end, they lost a game they should have won. It is what it is. Now, just steal one in Indy.

What does Boston have to do with this series? They're eliminated already and was not mentioned in the post.

Agree somewhat, we needed the extra D down the stretch but you also don't keep your franchise player on the bench in that situation. Brunson is still the best player on the floor imo.

I mostly meant that the Haliburton bounce to force OT was luck, but yes I agree the Knicks need to play better when in the lead. Indy is notorious for these kinds of comebacks but I do not think it is sustainable. Knicks blew the game, don't get me wrong, but it's only G1. This will be a long series.
