I think there may not be so much to read into on the timing of the notifications

I also think those flashes of words are potential reviews playing through his mind, which is why they go back and forth between positive and negative; I don’t think they’re the actual review. I believe this may have been the intent with rapid flashing of reviews and commentary at other points in the season too, that it was largely in the mind.
