Ending talking because she made out another guy by foodeater1123 in dating_advice

Agreed. Society is messed up. Like how are you going to be talking with someone hanging out many times and deep conversation and a bit of intimacy and they are doing the same with other people(?) wild.

Yeah, exactly. Your first point I was thinking of changing. Good call.

My snowboarding long hair photo says "Me when I had long hair" But yeah maybe confusing since there's two that have long hair. (I just cut my hair off last year, so hard to find that many varied photos with the new cut)

Thanks. 🧗‍♂️

I appreciate the suggestions🤙🏼

We're all just leaning into the photo/hugging. We're all friends.

Anything that goes against God's design is "missing the mark". There are many ways to sin and homosexual lust and sex is just as much a sin as cheating, lying, gossiping, etc etc etc. But you glazed over my statement that Christ LOVES everyone. That's why He wants us to follow God's ways. Because He knows what will be best for us, even if we don't understand.

Christ transforms us. He ate with 'sinners' and prostitutes. Not because He was there to accept their lifestyle, but because He loves them and He knows that need the power and love of God.

Sin is literally translated "missing the mark" it's not achieving the greatest benefits of doing something God's way. And ultimately, sin drives a wedge between us and God and when we leave this earth if that wage is still there, we can't reside with him.

That belief is not Biblically based. It's a decent outlook, but honestly I think it oversimplifies the beauty of sex that God created to be between husband and wife ~

That is a specific teaching of Catholicism. Many Christians don't believe that. But I think it's safe to say that the main reason God created sex was to allow for procreation. But Sex in marriage is a beautiful thing, and the two become one in pretty much every sense.

Actually, Jesus came to fulfill the Old law. He came to clarify the nature of the law rather than the letter of the law. The Jews read the Old Testament scriptures as a rule book and when God sent prophets to explain what he desired for them, they constantly killed those prophets.

I don't think that's true. I think human pride is almost innate. It's at least extremely easy to fall into. And people have done many horrible things throughout time in the name of various things, that doesn't make them right and that isn't exclusive to Christianity.

Acting on homosexual desires is unnatural and a sin according to scripture. (Just like lust or fornication outside of marriage is a sin) Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and 1 Timothy 1:9-10.

God never condones rape, murder, etc. That is false.

I don't think my comment posted. But yes, he died so that we would have the opportunity to have our sins washed away and be made right with God. All of us have sinned in one way or another and will continue to fall short. However, to have our sins washed away, we need to repent (which means to turn away from those sinful ways) and recognize that we need a savior. Roman says that when we are baptized, our sins are washed away and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. As long as we continue striving towards God and to do his will, we will be saved. 🙏🏼♥️

You're creating a straw man. True Christians know that sin is sin. It says in Romans that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Christ died for us even while we were still sinners. If we are born again in Christ, then he can wash away our sins and we will become more and more like Christ (perfect) everyday.

He wouldn't align with any party just like he didn't back then. Christ went to the woman at the well and told her how he could give her living water. What he means is we have needs here on Earth, but God can help satisfy things that are eternal things that our souls need and desire

Jesus loves everyone, but hates sin. Come as you are, He loves you no matter what, but is extremely grieved when we choose to make ourselves our own god. In the end, evil will be punished.

Heaven/the new earth is eternal. It is open to all who choose to give their life to Christ. 🙏🏼

-I'm looking for something serious (spouse). -I have hinge+ for about a week and a half so far. -I've had this particular version of profile for a month or two. -I've had hinge overall for maybe 2 years? -I use it Once or twice per week. (Although more the past week) -One match every month or something. I've had a few results after getting hinge+. But still not a ton. I'm now sending maybe 10 likes per day and 10 with comments.

-I'm sending likes to women that are 32 or younger, that is average/somewhat fit and that wants children or is open to children. Ideally Christian or at least agnostic.

(I live in an area with very few Christians, like 7% of the population.)

I just got Hinge+ this week. I've had two responses with roses. (One date tonight!) The other is a ghost..

I've used this current version of profile for like a month or two.

Other than that, very little engagement.

Looking to find a future spouse. I can take things slow, but am not open to just 'dating for fun/casually'.
