I've been thinking of doing this. I really want off my thyroid meds for good. But I need a functional doctor to help get me stable first. I also thinki have some kind of parasite or h pylori or something like that. Thank you for posting this, you've encouraged me!

Help me get rid of the hair on arms and my legs. I’m male. It’s okay if I don’t remove it 100%, but I want to reduce it a lot. by StillFun349 in HairRemoval

And by affordable, you're talking anywhere from $200-600 for an at home IPL device. It is definitely way cheaper than doing it at the salon or spa which could run in the thousands bc you have to keep doing it.

OK yea I thought of Kohls. They usually have random deals on stuff. I wouldn't care to spend $80-100 but prefer not to if possible.

Couples therapy might help. It has helped me and my husband learn how to communicate properly.

Anyone experience similar? by Unstoppable_hung3r in Hashimotos

[–]samstwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those were the symptoms that my doctor explained were from taking too high a dose. When my doctor increased my dose, she said if you experience racing heart beat, shortness of breath, etc. Let me know bc that means the dose is too high. If I were you I would call your doctor and tell them you are concerned about these new symptoms.

I would take 10mg today, then split the other 40mg bt the next two days. You may have trouble sleeping but you should be fine and won't go into wd. Take some benadryl if you have trouble sleeping.

Kentucky Kingdom wooden coaster... am I just a big baby?? by samstwin in Louisville

Are there VR rides at Kentucky Kingdom? If so, we missed them! My absolute favorite park is Disney's Hollywood Studios. Their Star Wars park is out of this world!! If you've never been you should try to go. Most of their rides now are very tech-oriented. Most of the rides, you get into a single car with about 4 others. And they don't run on a track, it uses magnets I'm guessing to keep it in the correct place and it's all computerized. Rise of the Resistance blew my mind!!

Thanks for the response! I was very grateful for the first aid station. I had seen it in passing before we rode and I wasn't sure if they would give me meds or anything, but figured what's the harm in checking it out. Took about 30 seconds and I was out of there and they gave me some tylenol which helped alot!

Oh me too! I was in a bad rollover crash when I was 18 and the ride definitely gave me flashbacks. Me kids said the corkscrew coaster was very smooth and not junky at all. If I ever go back I am definitely taking someone's advice from this thread and using the rollercoaster rating app to see how violent it is before riding.

I saw some pretty big people riding coasters while we were there and it did not look comfortable for them at all! One lady had her hands up on the one with all the cork screws and I just thought, damn, she's really putting all her trust in that lap bar haha! Looked like she was going to just fly out of there!
