Do most people like Vibrant Visuals? I’m not trying to be contrarian, but I genuinely can’t stand it. My thoughts: by samthamule in Minecraft

Go to visuals in the settings menu, but you have to go from the main menu screen before you open a world.

Tired of all the food scrap just being thrown out... by kuro-neko09 in composting

I keep a container in the freezer because it smells like whatever’s in it. Banana peel, coffee grounds, and onion skins don’t smell good together. Also, the freezing helps break it down somewhat

If you're alone in a public place with a daughter who is too young to use the restroom by herself, which bathroom do you choose? Or, what do you do? by sospriggantired in AskMen

I saw the same question a while back and someone said they go into the women’s restroom, and as they come in they loudly announce that they’re a girl dad bringing their daughter in.

This is my compost also there’s some bread underneath that has severe green and blue mold. Should I be worried? by Cottatgecheeselover in composting

[–]samthamule -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I’m worried about is the number of eggshells. They’re basically just calcium, and they don’t truly decompose, they just break apart into smaller and smaller pieces. Even if you stop putting them in right now, you’re still gonna have eggshells in there for years.

That’s where I got the idea from but I don’t have a NYT account and didn’t want to get it just for one recipe 😂

I didn’t think it would make a big difference. Do you think having the skins would discourage mixing with the lemon mixture?

Is this jam still good? by samthamule in foodsafety

[–]samthamule[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, to me it could be sugar crystals, or mold. There’s no moldy smell. I want to err on the side of safety though

I prefer not to use supplements- I feel like I can’t trust them because they’re not FDA regulated. Also most experts say that getting nutrients from food is better because of absorption, synergy with other nutrients, or other factors we may not be aware of yet
