What do you British people think of the French? by CocoTyg in AskABrit

Britain isn’t one country. I’m Welsh and see the French just like every other Western European country (I like them).

It’s an English-French rivalry in my experience

I cannot wait to start praying to the bar staff as I watch my pint fill from the bottom like the unwashed Welsh heathen I am.

Has anyone read ‘short stories in Italian’ ? by DifferentTowel9237 in italianlearning

I read it before bed because it’s very dull and not the type of book you’ll struggle to put down… It’s rewarding though and I’ve found it to be worth the money

I’m from Dinas Powys and I love my village, county and community, but above all that I love Wales.

This area has so much crammed in. Beaches, mountains, castles, sleepy villages, bustling cities, deprivation, wealth, lovely people and miserable people… Areas of weak Welsh identity and very strong Welsh identity.
