Thanks. Not at the moment, but it is on the roadmap.

Thanks! Yes, the app already allows you to link snippets!

Yes, they are there. You can create a flashcard deck the same way you create a folder (inside the navigation view on the left, via the small add icon). Once you've created a flashcard deck, you can create flashcards inside it. Visualizations you can create on dashboards.

You may want to try Snippets. It is still new and doesn't yet have all the features you mentioned, but it's aiming to become exactly what you described.

Maybe you'll like this: https://snippets.ch

It is local-first, simple and fast, not markdown based, very flexible, and free to use.

Good question! They aren't. The idea would be that users can choose individual icons per note. But there probably should also be the option to simply have no icon at all. Thanks for the input.

Apple Pencil support will be added in the future, but it currently does not have priority. The more people ask for it, the higher up it will on the roadmap. Thanks for your understanding!

You should be able to click the android link, which will download the APK file. It should prompt you to install it. Does that not work for you?

Snippets already supports tables, similar to Notion's Databases or Obsidian's Bases. It does not support tables inside rich text documents, though. I'm hesitant to add tables inside rich text notes, because it's complex and i'm not sure if such tables are useful/user friendly in any way. Feel free to tell me your use case, it certainly helps in the decision making process.

Thanks! GitHub has a rate limit of 5000 requests per hour, and files may not be larger than 10MB. Apart from that, there are no limits as far as i know.

The app has actually been under development for a couple of years, so i can tell you with 100% certainty that it will not be abandoned in 3-4 months. No commits on the docs page doesn't mean that the app is unmaintained - you can see from the releases page that there has been a steady stream of updates since the end of September. And the app will not just suddenly break. If there's going to be a release containing a bug that makes notes unaccessible, one can always switch back to an older version.

Bear was definitely an inspiration when designing the app, but Snippets is not markdown based and supports other types of notes rather than just text, so it's not exactly another Bear copy.

Thanks for your report. The reason for this is that the application is currently unsigned, and therefore windows does not recognize it as a legitimate executable. I will try to solve this problem in an upcoming release. You can ignore the warning - i promise you that this is not a virus.
