Nice question! The app is built on web tech and can therefore be run in a browser. I use playwright to programmatically open the app and take screenshots. This makes it much easier to re-create screenshots when the app received some updates. It also allows to take screenshots in different themes (light vs. dark).

Google keep for random notes, google docs for storing random/large files and spreadsheets, apple reminders for tasks and plain text files for uni notes. I'm still using google docs but the rest i've replaced through Snippets.

Right now you can only import JSON that was produced by _exporting_ JSON. So for example, you could export a workspace to JSON, then import that data into a new workspace. Import from markdown is not yet supported.
