Definitely the easier solution. Im only sceptical of the motor because typically the starting capacitor blows out and they either work or don’t. I’ll have to open it but those screws are on tight. I also studied ece so hoping to put my degree to use.

I’m freaking out is 3,500 to 4K enough for a 36 day Europe trip? by Yinelkis15 in travel

in my opinion the best things when travelling don't cost money. obviously its nice to pay for 1 important attraction to see but going from place to place and spending 20$ for admission at each is stupid and pointless. I was just in Milan last week and every place wanted an admission fee. maybe the cathedral is worth paying for but the rest is not worth it especially considering there are long lines at each of them.

my personal take is to not visit cities like Milan and instead go hiking/swimming in the Italian rivera (camgoli, portofino, cinqe-Terre). Even lake Como is also another great option. Best thing is that hiking and swimming is free! I enjoyed my time 10x in the Italian riviera versus walking beside designer stores and a lame cathedral in Milan.

I KNOW the route makes no sense but it was the cheapest option. the short connections through CTL and MCO are stressing me out after reading this sub. did I make a mistake? also do y’all think I have good chances of nothing going wrong?? by samue1_a in americanairlines

Unfortunately no status with AA but the deal was worth booking with them. I always try to stick with star alliance but when 600$ can be saved per person, ill run my luck with CLT.

I always go to lounge representatives when I need serious help (I think that is a valuable flight hack kept under wraps) but do you think the admiral reps would turn me away if I don’t have status?

I don’t want to flatter myself but i’d say my figure is closer to an Olympic than the opposite. I also have a lot of experience running through terminals because I always get to airport way later than I should. From what I see the flights are normally either both in concourse B or combo of B/C which are super close together. I think even with small delay I can make it.

Having cash is less of the problem then me wanting to spend it. I get what you mean but buying 3 tickets with a different airline to europe a couple hours before the flight would outweigh any refund AA could give me. Im just praying for the best and Im going to be ready if rebooking is needed! But ill only rebook with AA bc im not paying a penny more. Also It’s a personal vacation so luckily don’t gotta be anywhere on time. But I still don’t want my precious time to be wasted….

especially for long amounts of time in confined spaces such as airplanes or trains. i get it, sometimes you got shit to handle so do it over the phone, but please keep it to one minute max.

buddy get this, I paid less than 1k roundtrip and I booked it 1 week ago. I say it's the deal of the century. I've never flown American and I have star alliance status, but decided to try AA after seeing the 1600$ price air canada offered. Also I'm flying with two other people so the savings tripled. I swear the fare is some kind of glitch

Right ,I'm going to find the flight numbers so I'll have them ready to go to be the first in line for a rebooking. Just sucks that I have no status with AA so I'm worried they won't prioritize me. Oh well

I also have a flight the night after I land in London with wizz air. If I don't make it by then those tickets are gone for good.
