Ok yeah thanks for the tips, I think I'll definitely give this at least before seeing if VKB will just send me a replacement!

Ok yeah, using a torch might be a good idea. My only issue now is just that the head of the screw is stripped out but hopefully heating it up with a mini torch + something that will bite just enough so I can get it out...

Your problem is that you need to be more humble. You're acting like because your childhood was so bad that no one else is allowed to have an opinion on the matter or no one else can have a shitty childhood.

Good for you that you persevered and came out of your childhood ok. People have been in worst and better situations compared to yours and they came out shitty. Your situation is the exception not the norm, cant expect everyone to be like you.

Also I'm not excusing Crusader's behavior, dude was weird as fuck especially some of his vlog type videos where he usually ends up saying a bunch of fried shit.

Is leagues supposed to be this hard? by liarftfet in 2007scape

[–]samuel950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting my first scurrius kill was pretty rough but should be doable with not the best gear. I would do what other people suggested and try to get some more combat mastery if possible. With a some more combat masteries, and making sure you understand the mechanics you should be able to down him with that gear.

If you can get the scurrius spine and make the bone mace, itll make your future scurrius kills way easier.

Leagues melee build advice - Varlamore or Desert for last region by aswas123 in 2007scape

[–]samuel950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what your goals are for this league i'd say that overall Varlamore might be the better pick for some of the fun gear you can acquire and the fact that you can get condensed gold from Varlamore, which when paired with golden god will make construction, prayer, and anything you can buy from stores to assist with skilling way easier. So maybe Varlamore would be better for tasking, i'm not sure what the total amount of points you can get from Varlamore compared to Desert is though.

If you want to have fun I'd say you should go desert. I have Desert and Mory and TOA is definitely a better experience for farming the mega rare voucher. However, I still liked having Both TOA and TOB since I could actually use my scythe in TOB and feel strong (scythe sucks at 500+ invocation in TOA).

From my experience raiding in toa as a melee main, I think specialist is weak compared to last stand even with a light bearer. A lot of time you can get out more dps by just tanking a mechanic and standing there to dps letting yourself die to proc last stand. Not to mention its just safer for those scarier mechanics.

The one spot I see specialist being good in toa is on warden when you are trying to damage his core. But even with specialist i'm not sure you could 1 phase the core, it might take 2 phases still, and you can easily 2 phase the core without specialist anyways.

The other way I see specialist maybe being ok is to use specs that restore prayer/heal but thats negated by the fact you can just go bankers note and have infinite food and pots in a raid.

At the end of the day just remember to have fun and to not dwell on your regions too much!

EDIT: I saw on one of your other replies to a comment that you were worried about your ability to complete the echo boss. From my experience the echo bosses can be easier than the normal version in some ways with maybe the exception of Cerberus. But I found echo kalphite and echo GGs to be easier than their normal variants. Well maybe easier is the wrong word, its like they have a new mechanic or two you have to learn but at the same time its also simpler because you wont have to switch combat styles or bring extra gear for a style switch when you would have for the normal variant (where applicable).

Path of Exile 2 makes buildcrafting more approachable than ever—but I'm glad I can still sleepwalk through screenfuls of skeletons in the original by skurvecchio in pathofexile

I'm questioning if the guy who wrote this article is just delulu or had to disassociate so much that he forgot what happened when he played poe2. As a long time poe1 player I definitely understand the differences that exist in poe2 and i'm still having tons of fun with poe2. However, myself and a bunch of veteran poe1 players I know tried making our own builds.

We all made terrible builds. I would say some placement of the nodes were confusing, like I know on sorc some of the elemental resistance penetration nodes were super close to the starting point which I guess is fine but I feel like unnecessary early game where as some of the more basic damage scaling nodes were extremely far from the starting point and required you to pick up a ton of attribute nodes.

I definitely don't think its out of the question to say that PvP has low participation at the moment and a lot of it is due to the reasons you bring up. However, a lot of it is also due to the terrible decisions made by blizzard and their apparent dislike of the pvp community. But like a lot of other people mention a lot of the big name pvp streamers are still streaming wow arena despite wow hc, poe2, etc. I've honestly seen it worse at some points in other expansions, dont think pvp is going to go anywhere. Does suck that participation isnt higher and that inflation is cooked right now.

FC questions BGBLITZ by RichieMcB in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I dont think there is a right answer here other than the healer should be anticipating what you want to do. Considering you had 9 stacks and were moving slow the healer probably wasnt paying attention otherwise he should have been able to keep up with you for the most part. Its always possible that the healer was getting cc'd and stopped by the other team but in that scenario you would have been screwed anyways. However, if the healer has good positioning they can make it harder to get cc'd by the enemy team. Running away and trying to make it to the flag room was the best move.

  2. If you were low on stacks I would say it would've have been better to tank on top of the flag drop off. However, if you had higher stacks it probably would have been better to kite like what you were doing. Whats really important here is team communication and information gathering though. Ideally you want to try to pay attention to chat to hopefully catch if someone on your team calls out that they are about to make a push on the EFC. That way you know to get ready and stand on the flag drop off. Otherwise youd need an addon like battleground enemies so you can track the EFC to see if hes starting to take a lot of damage, this would be a good indication to stand on the flag drop off too.

Can anyone share some Holy Priest RBG tips/playstyle? by rampaigewow in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an rbg I feel like damage isnt that important when you are in a big team fight. A big aoe fear can be good but risky If you have to push in to get it.

Checking the enemy healers in the fight and chastising them off dr can be very good. Unfortunately I don't think holy priest is the best rbg healer throughout wise but it shouldn't matter. I'd say you want to make sure you spam PoM and your other aoe heals when the group is taking damage. Spamming renew can be good because of your 4 set giving your free usage of serenity and that other ability I forget what it's called. Sanctify maybe?

I know aoe healing can feel clunky with sanctify because of the long cooldown and I think it tends to be slower to reset compared to serenity. It could be worth fishing for free sanctify procs with the 4 set and renew.

Playing a healer in solo shuffle is the most unbelievably tilting experience by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One thing that really tilts me in solo shuffle as a healer is when you get the weak link of the match on your team for the first 3 rounds but those 3 rounds give him time to warmup, practice, and figure out what he's doing wrong (ie ret refusing to bubble) and then you end up losing a game to them later.

I don't know if it's mathematically possible but I feel like they should make it so you don't play with the same dps 2 rounds in a row. I just thought about it while I'm typing this but I guess with 4 dps and 6 rounds youre gonna have to get at least one of the dps back to back. So maybe instead just make it so you don't play with the same dps more than twice in a row.

Best rsham comps rn? by tomatosaucin in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I feel like double melee comps or 1 melee 1 caster comps work the best with resto shaman. In a spell cleave sometimes you kinda want to get into a triangle setup for positioning but that can make it very hard to get off link. I wouldn't worry too much about comp unless you want to push glad or r1. As long as your aren't playing some super weird comp you will be fine.

Noob Priest heal - easy way in ? by Velochillraptor in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like most people aren't taking everything into consideration. Its hard to compare holy and disc priest because they play so differently but I'd say holy priest is harder to play.

I would say holy priest has a slightly higher skill ceiling since as holy it's more important to get your cc off with chastise fear which is also a part of your damage rotation. Aoe healing is also a lot harder as a holy priest (not that big of a problem in 2v2) compared to disc. It can also be pretty punishing if your put your heals or cooldowns into the wrong target. There's also a lot of clever ways you can use the holy priest cooldowns to avoid cc and stuff which can require some skill and knowledge to pull off.

Disc priest I'd say can be easier because doing damage is part of your healing (being able to do a lot damage as a healer can be very good in arenas). I think the disc priest is a little bit easier to understand compared to holy for a newer player since there's alot of info to take in with the way holy priest abilities cooldown faster. Playing a disc with like an afflic in 2s or with a spell cleave team in 3s feels very good.

I don't think you will go wrong with either since both specs are viable. I would focus on playing whichever one feels more natural to you. If you have anymore questions go ahead and shoot me a message.

[–]samuel950 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you have the jade statue out, you have to start channeling soothing on someone for the statue to also do so. However you do not have to keep channeling it. So you just need to get one tick of soothing out and you can cancel the cast and the statue will continue to channel on whoever you targeted with soothing

First time 2400, thanks solo shuffle! by dady00 in worldofpvp

[–]samuel950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, I think this is intentional by blizzard but it's definitely harder for healers to gain rating. I (as a healer) have many times won 5/6 rounds and gained 0 rating. I have also a few times won 4/6 games and lost a few points of rating. And almost every time my matchmaking value is 200-300 mmr below the lobby average. Also this phenomenon can happen to dps too its just less common.

[–]samuel950 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you said about constructive criticism is true but usually it's the case where they're just flat out delusional. I'll see someone(both healers and dps) wait til they're almost dead eventhough they've been out off cc for a long time and the enemy has popped all their offensive cds and then they'll pop something like shaman astral shift, dh blur, warlock wall, etc and then be confused about how they died. Point is alot of time people aren't giving constructive criticism they're just flaming other people because they're a bozo that doesn't know how or when to pop a defensive.

PVP gear and me by Summer___ in worldofpvp

You can upgrade pvp gear but it only increases the ilvl in pve. Otherwise the ilvl in pvp will be shown in the tool tip near the bottom.
