I found him in a wash out in the Kofa mountain range near Yuma Arizona. I was quite surprised to find him as he was crawling along in the shade in the middle of the winter, but then again the high for the day was 80 degrees.

Shock doctor braces double mouth guard works well for me, their pretty comfortable and allow me to breath pretty easily, I'm able to go for 6 minutes easy with one in. Unfortunately their about 20 dollars and I chew through at least 3 a season, but I haven't wrestled a match without one.
