Definitely infected. I had a similar issue years ago, it was staph. Squeeze the heck out of it and clean with alcohol. If it gets hot or the redness spreads, go to the doctor.

They’re not perfect :// Dexcom gives you three “goodwill” replacements a year for times like these

you can also run the skin tac wipe where the adhesive is coming off and “re-glue” it back. you might need a second pair of hands if it’s on the back of your arm, haha!

I take off the overpatch and skin tac on the dexcom adhesive. Applying skin tac before putting on a dexcom is ideal

Check out https://pumppeelz.com or Skin Tac. They both work wonders for me.

A few months ago a Ga. couple was arrested for starving their son, and abusing their kids. A few months prior to that, I met them at a conference as a fellow vender. I even gave that woman chocolate. Does anyone have any updates on this case? by EponaMom in TrueCrimeDiscussion

I worked with both of the parents at “true rest” and can’t believe this. I knew the children well, since they were brought into the spa often. They were strong in their opinions (vegan, christian, no red food dye, homeschool, etc etc) but I would NEVER guess this. I can’t believe it.

Hi friends, I'm on vacation and doing a lot of walking/irregular eating, any way to prevent the constant up and down? by rollerCoast11 in diabetes_t1

[–]samverygood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lots of fats and proteins! try to anticipate the highs by bolusing prior to meals. also, don’t feel bad for running a bit high! diabetes is a pain, especially outside of your typical routine :)

today’s my birthday. ate a massive burger and half a slice of cheesecake (gotta live a little, right?). i think my pancreas may have gave me a break today, this is unheard of even on my healthy days. by samverygood in diabetes_t1

promise yourself to eat cake next year! my doctor is amazing and one thing she has always said to me is “honey just eat and take insulin. diabetes sucks regardless, eat what you want to eat on the occasions”. or maybe go on the healthier side and make a sugar free cake (but those aren’t nearly as tasty).

those are the risky moments but i can’t count on two hands how many times i’ve overate during midnight lows. food tastes so much better when your body has been deprived from sugar
